Windhoek
A representative meets you at Hosea Kutako International Airport with your name board and takes you to your hotel. From there, the day is yours to settle in and recover from travel.

Windhoek to Erindi Private Game Reserve
After breakfast at the hotel, your driver guide picks you up for the roughly 300 km drive to Erindi Private Game Reserve, getting there around lunchtime. After eating, you'll go out on an open vehicle game drive where lions, African wild dogs, elephants, hippos, giraffes, and rhinos might appear. You return to the lodge for dinner.

Erindi Private Game Reserve to Grootfontein
You head out early for a morning game drive searching for rhinos, elephants, cheetahs, and other wildlife. After checking out, the drive continues northward with a stop at the Hoba Meteorite, the world's largest remaining meteorite. Then you continue to your Grootfontein lodge, arriving before sunset for dinner.

Grootfontein to Etosha National Park
At the Living Museum of the Ju/'Hoansi-san, you receive a welcome ceremony and join village hunters as they search for game, edible plants, roots, berries, and honey in the jungle. Later you drive to Etosha National Park and check in at the lodge for the night.

Etosha National Park - East
After breakfast, a lodge-arranged game drive takes you through Etosha East, a vast area with complex terrain where leopards, cheetahs, lions, elephants, black rhinos, and giraffes roam. The park has 323 bird species including flamingos, ostriches, eagles, and vultures. You return for lunch and rest around noon, then head back out in the afternoon to see the Etosha Pan.

Etosha National Park - East to South
Morning checkout leads to a game drive through Etosha East to Etosha South, searching for exotic animals. The national park holds hundreds of mammal and bird species. During dry season, animals move to waterholes throughout the park to drink.

Etosha National Park - Southwest
Early morning brings another game drive in Etosha's southwest area. You return to the lodge for rest and lunch around noon. In the afternoon, another game drive lets you search for lions, giraffes, white rhinos, and black rhinos.

Etosha National Park to Opuwo
You leave early and drive to Opuwo, a tribal area in northern Namibia known for the Himba tribe and desert elephants. The lodge is reached before lunch. In the afternoon, you visit the Himba tribe to see their lifestyle, learn their history and culture, and talk with them through your guide.

Landmarks Opuwo - Day 9
Opuwo
The morning continues with visits to the Himba people, where you observe village life as their ancestors lived it with family units encircled by firewood and thatched huts made of cow dung and mud. The afternoon is free for you to arrange however you'd like, such as walking around the lodge.

Landmarks Opuwo - Day 10
Opuwo to Damaraland
A five-hour drive south brings you to Damaraland's edge, where deserts and archaeological sites wait. Along the way you search for desert-adapted elephants and black rhinos. After a picnic lunch, you see the 260-million-year-old Petrified Forest and Welwitschia Mirabilis, Earth's longest-living plant. Then comes the Burnt Mountain and Organ Pipes with their geological formations.

Damaraland to Swakopmund
In the morning, you visit Twyfelfontein, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with ancient rock paintings from San Bushmen. Some paintings showing animals and human figures are more than 6,000 years old. Later you head to Swakopmund, stopping at the abandoned mining town of Uis to learn about its history.

Swakopmund to Sossusvlei
You head to Sossusvlei to see the iconic red dunes of the Namib Desert. Passing through the small town of Solitaire, you stop to try the famous apple pie. Arriving at the lodge 4 to 5 hours later, there's time to watch the sunset before dinner.

Landmarks Sossusvlei Solitaire - Day 14
Sossusvlei
Wake before sunrise and head to the park entrance to wait for opening, usually at sunrise. A 30-minute drive takes you to Sossusvlei with its striking red sand dunes. You visit Dune 45, Deadvlei, Big Daddy Dune, and Sesriem Canyon. A picnic lunch comes while taking in the scenery, then the lodge organizes a sundowner drive in the afternoon.
