- Day 1
Windhoek to Sossusvlei
Your driver guide meets you at Hosea Kutako International Airport with a name board, then it's about 4 to 5 hours to Sossusvlei in Namib Naukluft National Park. Keep an eye out for emsbok and Pale Chanting Goshawks during the drive. Once you settle into the lodge, you'll head out on an evening game drive to see what's around.

Sossusvlei to Swakopmund
Before sunrise, you're out exploring Sossusvlei to see the iconic red dunes including Dune 45, Sesriem Canyon, Big Daddy, and Deadvlei. Afterward, it's roughly 1.5 hours driving to Swakopmund. If timing works out, stop in Solitaire town and try their popular Apple Pie snack along the way.

Swakopmund
A local professional guide takes you through the Living Desert where you'll see wild plants and animals like scorpions, snakes, and lizards across the Namib Desert. The afternoon is yours to spend however you like in this coastal city. If you're into it, there are optional extreme sports available including catamaran charters, horse riding, or kayak tours.

Landmarks Namib Desert - Day 4
Swakopmund to Twyfelfontein
Head north to Skeleton Coast and visit one of the shipwrecks. You'll drive through Brandberg mountain with remote views of Spitzkoppe, Namibia's highest mountain. The day ends at Twyfelfontein, one of Africa's largest rock art sites with centuries of history carved into stone.

Twyfelfontein to Damaraland
Walk through Twyfelfontein's rock art heritage including the UNESCO World Heritage Site engravings, Burnt Mountain, Organ Pipes, and Petrified Forest, some dating back over 6,000 years. Then drive about 1.5 hours north to Damaraland, grab lunch at the lodge, and set out on a game drive through Palmwag Concession hunting for elephants, springbok, baboons, giraffes, mountain zebras, lions, and endemic birds.

Damaraland to Kaokoland
Early morning tracking of Black Rhinos in Kaokoland, the endangered species that survives 2 to 3 days without water and makes up one-third of the world's remaining population. You'll walk and drive searching for them while also spotting gemsbok and springbok through the desert.

Landmarks Kaokoland - Day 7
Kaokoland to Epupa Falls
Drive north through wildlife landscapes with baobab and palm trees, crossing the Hoanib River Valley. Stop in Opuwo for lunch, then continue 130 km to the lodge near Kunene River where Epupa Falls cascade 60 meters down from the cliff with rainbows forming in the rapid water below.

Epupa Falls to Kunene River
Visit a Himba Village, the last real nomadic tribe in Namibia, and learn about their daily life with guide help. It's about 3 hours driving to Kunene River where you'll stay at a lodge with river views. This area is excellent for spotting rare bird species like Cinderella Waxbill and Angolan Swallow. End the day with a sundowner cruise on the river.

Kunene River to Etosha National Park
Drive east along Kunene River to Ruacana Falls, one of Africa's largest waterfalls at 120 meters high and 700 meters wide. Continue south into Etosha National Park with its massive dry saline pan formed roughly 100 million years ago. After settling in at camp, an afternoon game drive lets you spot lions, giraffes, greater kudu, and more wildlife.

Etosha National Park

Etosha National Park to Windhoek
