Itinerary
- Day 1
Yerevan
You'll arrive at Zvartnots International Airport where your tour representative will meet you for the transfer to your hotel. Once you've settled in, this afternoon you can start exploring Yerevan's main sights. The Cascade Complex is worth seeing for its contemporary art collection and the sweeping views it offers. From there, walk through the Opera House area, then stroll along North Avenue and Republic Square. Stop by the historic Blue Mosque and spend some time at Saryan Street's open-air art market before heading back to your hotel for the evening.

Aragatsotn Region
After breakfast, you'll head out to the Aragatsotn region to see Amberd Fortress and Church, which sits at 2,300 meters on Mount Aragats's southern slopes. It's a medieval site with some great views of the surrounding area. Next, you'll visit Alphabet Alley where Armenian letters are on display and you can try to find your own initials carved into the stones. The drive back to Yerevan takes place in the evening, so you'll return to your hotel after a full day.

Garni
You'll start the day with breakfast before driving to the Arch of Charents for panoramic views over the Ararat Valley. From there, continue on to Garni Fortress and its pagan Temple, which dates back to 1 AD and stands out as a unique historical structure. Later, you'll see Symphony of Stones, a striking natural formation of collapsed volcanic rocks that creates an unusual landscape. The drive back to Yerevan happens in the evening, giving you time to see several different sites in one day.

Gegharkhunik Region - Lake Sevan
After breakfast, you'll travel to the Gegharkhunik region to explore Kecharis Monastery, an 11th-century site with historical significance. Then ride the Tsaghkadzor Ropeway to take in views of the mountains from above. If you're interested, there's the option to try zip-lining or hike Mount Teghenis for views of the snowcapped highlands. Later in the day, you'll head to Lake Sevan, the largest lake in the Caucasus, before making the drive back to Yerevan for the night.
