Plenty of free time at each site, and lots of relevant information at places where that was necessary. Our guides, Erhard (Mexico) and Aquilino (Belize and Guatemala), were both wonderful. I would add an extra day in San Ignacio (Belize), especially for those interested in exploring Mayan ruins, and I think it would be interesting if we had the option to start the tour in this country instead of Mexico. I liked Intrepid's approach to reducing ecological impacts and also offering a homestay in Guatemala, contributing to the development of a local community and helping us have a more immersive experience in the country.Show more

Asked on December 29th, 2024are age restriction of only 35 years old only a suggestion? My husband and I are exceptionally active seniors. we are in great shape and work out in gym 3 times per week---weight lifting, spin (cardio) etc do lots of hiking etc
