Prague
A guided tour takes you through Old Town this morning, focusing on medieval architecture and the forgotten passages that wind through the city's oldest streets. After lunch, you'll head underground to explore the cellars and tunnels beneath Prague, seeing remnants of medieval structures that are now buried below street level.

Prague

Prague to Karlštejn
You'll leave Prague and drive out to Karlstejn, a Gothic fortress that Emperor Charles IV built in the Bohemian countryside. The castle sits dramatically on a hilltop and gives you a sense of medieval power and design outside the city.

Prague to Kutná Hora
The drive to Kutna Hora takes you to a town that once powered Bohemia's economy through silver mining. You'll visit the Sedlec Ossuary, which is quite a striking sight with its Gothic symbolism and unusual artistry. Lunch happens in an atmospheric medieval tavern, and afterward you'll go down into the historic silver mines to walk through the actual tunnels where miners worked. You'll head back to Prague for the evening to relax after a full day.

Prague to Dětenice
After leaving Prague, you arrive at Deetenice, a complete medieval complex. Your hotel is designed as a 14th-century building with candlelit rooms and wooden interiors that give you a real sense of how people lived back then. You'll wander through the estate, checking out the blacksmith workshop and trying mead at a tasting. The old brewery and medieval village setting let you get a feel for daily life from centuries ago. By evening, you'll settle in for the Medieval Dinner and Show with fire performers, troubadours, and knights.
