Tokyo
You'll land and clear customs, then take a shared shuttle to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to settle in and rest. By afternoon you'll get information about what's coming up on the tour.

- Day 2
Tokyo
A five-hour guided tour takes you through Tokyo's neighborhoods. You'll see Zojoji Temple with Tokyo Tower views, Shibuya Crossing, Meiji Shrine, and the Imperial Palace gardens. After that, check out Akihabara's anime scene and head up Tokyo Skytree for panoramic city views. Then it's on to Sensoji Temple and Nakamise Street in Asakusa. Later you'll take the subway to Shinjuku for an evening walk through the lively district and grab dinner at a local restaurant.

- Day 3
Tokyo - Kamakura - Enoshima - Odawara
Leave Tokyo for Kamakura and wander through the bamboo forest at Hokoku-ji Zen Temple while having green tea. You'll stop at Sugimoto-dera, the city's oldest temple, then explore the center before seeing the Great Buddha. The route continues along the Pacific coast to Enoshima for free time and lunch. From there, travel to Odawara to see its medieval castle, then settle in for the night.

- Day 4
Odawara - Mount Fuji - Kawaguchiko
Head to Hakone near Mount Fuji. Visit Owakudani with its volcanic crater and steam vents, then go to Oshino Hakkai village for Mount Fuji views. Continue to Kawaguchiko for a boat ride on the lake, then drive up Mount Fuji to the Fifth Station at 2,305 meters (7,562 feet) for forest and mountain scenery. Finish the day relaxing at a traditional ryokan with onsen hot springs.

Kawaguchiko - Iyashi No Sato Nenba - Toyota - Kyoto
Follow a scenic route around lakes to Iyashi no Sato Nenba, a restored open-air museum with traditional houses turned into shops and cultural exhibits. Stop at Shiraito Falls, a 20-meter cascade. Then head to Nagoya to tour the Toyota Museum before traveling to Kyoto for your overnight stay.

- Day 6
Kyoto
Spend the full day in Kyoto, Japan's former capital. Start at Arashiyama with Togetsukyo Bridge, then visit Tenryuji Temple and walk through its bamboo forest. You'll see Fushimi Inari Shrine, the Imperial Palace, and Kinkakuji Temple with its golden structure and gardens. End with free time to wander through Gion, Kyoto's traditional district where geishas work.

Kyoto - Nara - Osaka
Travel to Nara and visit Todaiji Temple, built in 752, to see its giant Buddha statue. Take photos with the friendly deer roaming the park. Visit Horyu-ji Temple, a UNESCO site with one of the world's oldest wooden structures. Later, head to Osaka and explore Dotonbori district with its lively nightlife and atmosphere.

Travel to Himeji to see its impressive castle complex and Japanese castle architecture. Grab lunch at a local restaurant, then continue to Okayama. There you'll visit Korakuen, one of Japan's most beautiful gardens with lakes, waterfalls, and teahouses. Cross a bridge over the river to Okayama Castle, a sixteenth-century fortress rebuilt in 1966. You'll have free time to explore this provincial capital.

Head to Kurashiki and walk through its preserved historic center with charming old streets. Continue to Hiroshima to visit Peace Memorial Park, the Atomic Bomb Dome, and the Peace Memorial Museum to learn about the city's history. Take a ferry to Itsukushima island to see the famous shrine built over the water, dedicated to the guardian of the seas. Explore the town center and have lunch before returning to your Hiroshima hotel for dinner.

After breakfast, head to the station and board the bullet train for Tokyo. The four-hour journey covers 800 kilometers, arriving in Tokyo around 2:00 PM.
