Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Dallas
You'll arrive in Dallas on an economy flight and head to your hotel to settle in.
- Day 2
Dallas and Fort Worth
This morning you'll take an orientation tour through Dallas, checking out the historic West End district and the Dallas Morning Newspaper buildings before heading to the Old Red Museum. After that, it's a drive to Fort Worth for a guided tour and a stop at the Stockyards Historic Area where you can watch cattle drives (weather permitting, usually around 4:00 PM). You'll be back at your Dallas hotel by evening.

Dallas to Austin to San Antonio
You'll head out to Austin with an orientation drive through the City of Music, then continue down to San Antonio. There you can walk along the San Antonio River promenade or check out El Mercado, plus see the Spanish Governor's Palace and the Spanish missions from the outside. You'll spend the night in San Antonio.

San Antonio to Houston
You're driving to Houston for a tour of Texas's largest city. The day includes visiting the official NASA buildings at the Johnson Space Center, checking out Sam Houston Park to explore Houston's history, and admiring the downtown skyscrapers. Overnight in Houston.

Houston to Louisiana - Lake Charles and Lafayette
You'll head out toward Louisiana, driving through the Lake Charles area and taking a short walk through the Charpentier Historic Districts to see Victorian buildings. Then it's a brief orientation tour of Lafayette before settling in for the night there.

Lafayette to Louisiana Swamps to New Orleans
You're heading deeper into Louisiana's swampland for a boat trip through the bayou where you might spot alligators. After that, you'll drive to Baton Rouge for a quick orientation tour of the Old State Capitol building (exterior), then continue on to Oak Alley Plantation to tour the mansion. Later you'll arrive in New Orleans for your first night and have time to explore the evening atmosphere on your own.

You'll spend the full day in New Orleans starting with a city bus tour, then walking through the French Quarter. You'll see the French Market and Café du Monde, walk Canal and Bourbon Streets, visit the Saint Louis Cathedral, and view the 18th-century Spanish Cabildo building. There's plenty of time to soak up the city's unique character and lively atmosphere.

You're heading to Natchez to explore this historic town with over 500 antebellum mansions and Civil War-era buildings. You'll tour a cotton plantation to learn about past and present production methods, including the lives of enslaved people. Then it's on to Jackson, Mississippi's capital, for an overnight stay.

In the evening, you'll have time to grab a drink at a bar with country music and dancing. Overnight in Nashville.

Nashville to Chattanooga to Atlanta
