- Day 1
Prague
You'll arrive in Prague and get settled at your hotel. Later in the evening, head over to Old Town Square where the atmosphere really picks up. There are plenty of restaurants around to grab dinner, and after you eat, it's just a short walk back to the hotel for the night.

- Day 2
Prague
This morning you'll join a guided tour of Prague with a local who knows the city well. You'll visit Prague Castle and then take a boat ride along the Vltava River, which gives you a different perspective on the architecture. The afternoon is yours to explore at your own pace and find things that interest you most.

- Day 3
Prague - Munich - Innsbruck
Leave early for Bavaria, and by midday you'll roll into Munich. Wander around the historic center, grab lunch somewhere that looks good, then head on to Innsbruck in the afternoon. There you can walk through the Golden Roof area and check out the Old Town before dinner.

- Day 4
Innsbruck - Zurich
Spend time at the Swarovski Museum learning about their crystal creation process and wandering the gardens. After some free time, you'll drive toward Zurich through beautiful Tyrolean countryside. By evening, you're in Zurich's historic center near the lake with several dinner options to choose from.

- Day 5
Zurich - Grindelwald - Lucerne - Zurich
Travel through the mountain and lake landscapes of the Interlaken region. Stop in Grindelwald for coffee, then ride a cable car up the mountain and walk to a suspended bridge with glacier views. Have lunch at the mountain, then continue to Lucerne to see the town before heading back to Zurich.

- Day 6
Zurich - Bellinzona - Como - Milan
Head out early crossing the Alps into Italian-speaking Switzerland. In Bellinzona, explore the three medieval castles that are UNESCO World Heritage sites. Later you'll reach Como for lunch by the lake, and then drive to Milan where your guide shows you the Piazza del Duomo before checking into your hotel.

- Day 7
Milan - Pisa - Rome
Travel to Pisa and ride a small tourist train to Piazza dei Miracoli to see the famous Leaning Tower and the art complex around it. From there, continue on toward Rome, arriving later in the day so you'll have time to settle in.

- Day 8
Rome
Join a three-hour guided tour combining walking through Imperial Rome with a bus ride past the Arch of Constantine, Colosseum exterior, Imperial Forums, and Circus Maximus. You'll finish up at Vatican City around 11:00 a.m. Later in the evening, your guide takes you to the Trastevere neighborhood for dinner at one of the local restaurants, and you'll head back to the hotel around 8:30 p.m.

- Day 9
Rome to Florence
Head out of Rome early in the morning and travel north through rolling countryside toward Florence. When you arrive, make your way up to Piazzale Michelangelo first thing to take in the views across the city and get your bearings. Then walk down into the historic center where you'll grab lunch at one of the local spots. After eating, join a guided walking tour that takes you through the main landmarks including Ponte Vecchio with its shops hanging over the river, the impressive Duomo with its dome, and Piazza della Signoria where you can see the sculptures and historic buildings. You'll have some free time in the afternoon to wander around on your own and get a feel for the streets. By evening, pick from the many restaurants scattered throughout the area for dinner.

Florence - Venice
Cross over the Apennines enjoying mountain landscapes. You'll arrive in Venice and take a boat across the Giudecca Canal to reach Venice Island. Explore St. Mark's Square with a local guide, see traditional glass-making at the Murano Glass Factory, and have free time to wander around on your own. Your accommodation is in the Mestre district.
