- Day 1
Rome
You'll arrive in Rome and head to your hotel for check-in. Your guide meets up with you to go over the key details for the trip. Later in the evening, you'll walk over to Via Cavour where there's a good selection of restaurants serving Italian, Indian, Chinese, and other international options for dinner.

- Day 2
Rome
This morning starts with a three-hour guided tour that combines walking through Imperial Rome and a bus ride for views. You'll see the Arch of Constantine, the Colosseum exterior, Imperial Forums, Circus Maximus, Baths of Caracalla, Basilica of Saint Mary Major, Pyramid of Cestius, and Castel Sant'Angelo. By around 11:00 a.m., you reach Vatican City where there's an option to visit the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. In the evening, you get transferred to Trastevere for dinner and head back to the hotel around 8:30 p.m.

- Day 3
Rome to Florence
You'll leave Rome early and head north through the countryside to reach Florence. First stop is Piazzale Michelangelo for views over the city. After that, you walk into the historic center for a guided tour with a local guide, hitting Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, and Piazza della Signoria. You'll have some free time to wander on your own, then choose from several restaurants in the area for dinner.

Florence to Venice
The drive crosses through the Apennines with mountain scenery as you travel toward Venice. When you arrive, a boat takes you across the Giudecca Canal to the Island of Venice. With a local guide, you visit St. Mark's Square and then head to the Murano Glass Factory to watch the glass-making process. You get free time to explore the area before staying overnight in the Mestre district.

Venice to Zurich
You depart Venice and travel toward Austria, stopping in Innsbruck where you can walk around the historic town center and grab lunch. After that, the route continues through Tyrolean mountain landscapes as you cross into Switzerland, arriving in Zurich by evening.

Today you travel through the Interlaken region with mountains and lakes all around. First, you stop in Grindelwald for coffee. Then you take a cable car up the mountain and walk along a winding path to a suspended bridge, which offers glacier views for those up for it. Lunch is included while you're on the mountain. Later, you head to Lucerne, a beautiful Swiss city where you can explore the charming streets before returning to Zurich.

Zurich to Milan
You leave Zurich early and cross the Alps into the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland. Bellinzona is your first stop, home to three medieval castles (UNESCO World Heritage Sites) on hills above the city, and you'll have time to walk around. Next is Como for lunch, known for its lakeside gardens and cathedral. Finally, you continue to Milan where your guide shows you the Piazza del Duomo before dropping you at the hotel.
