Zurich
You'll arrive in Zurich, Switzerland's largest city, where Lake Zurich meets the Limmat River with mountains all around. After settling into your hotel, you'll have time to get a feel for the city and walk around a bit on your own.

Zurich
A guided walking tour takes you through Zurich's Old Town, wandering medieval streets and the Niederdorf square. You'll cross several bridges over the Limmat River and stop at Fraumünster Church, a ninth-century building with Marc Chagall's stained-glass windows inside.

Zurich to Grindelwald
Today you're doing a day trip to two Swiss towns. First stop is Lucerne on the lake with a guided tour and free time to explore, then you'll head to Engelberg, a traditional alpine village surrounded by mountains. Later, you'll travel by coach to Grindelwald for the evening.

Grindelwald
You're in Grindelwald at the foot of the Eiger mountain. You'll choose one activity: either a lake cruise on Brienz with mountain and village views, or the cogwheel train to Jungfraujoch at the top of the Jungfrau.

Grindelwald to Montreux
The Golden Pass Train takes you from Interlaken to Montreux through the Alps with views of snow-capped peaks, green valleys, and vineyards. After an orientation tour in Montreux, you'll have free time to explore. Tonight there's dinner at a chalet-style restaurant with alphorn music and cultural performance.

Montreux

Montreux to Zermatt

Zermatt to Schwangau

Schwangau

In Salzburg you'll explore the city surrounded by alpine peaks on the Salzach River.
