Paris
You'll arrive in Paris and head to your hotel in the historic centre. This evening there's a welcome reception where you'll meet your fellow travellers and tour director to kick things off.

Paris
A guided tour takes you through Paris to see the Avenue des Champs-Élysées and the Arc de Triomphe. From there, the afternoon is yours to walk around and check out whatever interests you.

Paris
You have the full day to spend in Paris however you want. You could head to the Latin Quarter, see the Louvre Museum, or join optional activities like a food-focused walk through the Marais or dinner and a show at the Moulin Rouge.

Giverny
A drive takes you to Giverny to visit Claude Monet's former home and gardens. You'll see the water garden with its Japanese bridge, water lilies, and flowers that showed up in so many of his paintings.

Paris to Lyon
After breakfast, you'll leave Paris by coach and head to Lyon for a scenic drive. Once there, you board the MS Van Gogh, get settled into your suite, and join a welcome cocktail with the other travelers and crew.

Lyon
A guided tour shows you Lyon, including Fournier Hill with the Basilica of Notre-Dame and the old section called Vieux Lyon. You'll taste local specialties like sausage and cheese at Les Halles de Lyon. Later, the ship heads to Collonges-au-Mont-d'Or for dinner at Paul Bocuse's Michelin-starred restaurant.

Avignon
A guided tour walks you through Avignon's history, focusing on the Palace of the Popes, a UNESCO World Heritage site that served as a fortress and papal residence. You'll see the impressive medieval architecture, then head back to the ship as it moves toward Arles.

Arles
Arles is yours to explore at your own pace, a UNESCO-listed city with Roman ruins and cultural sites. Or you can join an optional full-day trip to the Camargue to see the marshes, wildlife, and a traditional farm.

Viviers to La Voulte-sur-Rhône
A guided tour of Viviers shows you the House of Knights, Saint Michel Tower, and the Great Seminary, plus views from the overlook. Alternatively, take an optional coach tour to the Gorges de l'Ardèche canyon and the Pont d'Arc. You'll finish with a Gala Dinner onboard as the ship heads to La Voulte-sur-Rhône.
