Tokyo
Start at Senso-ji Temple, one of Tokyo's oldest temples, then take a water bus ride along the Tokyo Mizube Line for a different perspective of the city. From there you'll head to Hama Rikyu garden near Tokyo Bay, which offers a nice quiet break. After that, a guide will show you around Tsukiji Fish Market where you'll sample fresh sushi and seafood. The day wraps up in Ginza with shopping and dinner in the upscale district.

Tokyo to Echigo Yuzawa
Morning begins at Meiji Jingu Shrine surrounded by forest. Later you'll check out TeamLab Borderless Tokyo with its interactive digital installations. Head up to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office Observatories in Shinjuku for sweeping views across the city. In the afternoon, you'll board the Shinkansen bullet train to Echigo Yuzawa, then make your way to your hotel for check-in.

You'll spend the day on the slopes at Yuzawa Kogen Ski Resort. A 166-passenger ropeway takes you up to White Kogen stage at 1,000m/3,281 feet where you can enjoy the powdery snow and winter scenery throughout your time there.

Nagano
You'll take a private transfer to Nagano for the day. First stop is Jigokudani Monkey Park where wild Japanese macaques hang out in natural hot springs with snow-covered forests around them. After that, head to Zenko-ji Temple, one of Japan's oldest Buddhist temples, to walk through the sacred halls and hidden tunnels.

Finish at Arakurayama Sengen Park, one of the best viewpoints for Mount Fuji with wide vistas.
