Itinerary
- Day 1
Paris Arrival
You'll arrive at Charles de Gaulle Airport where a Uniworld representative meets you for the transfer to your Paris hotel. This is your first day, so after you get settled in, the rest of the afternoon and evening are yours to relax or take a walk around the neighborhood.

Paris
After breakfast at your hotel, a guided walk takes you through the Opera Garnier to see the ornate architecture up close. From there you'll head up to Sacré-Cœur basilica, which sits high above the city and offers views across Paris. The combination gives you a real sense of how the city mixes grand civic buildings with spiritual landmarks.

Paris to Rhine and Moselle Rivers
Following breakfast, you'll check out and transfer to the S.S. Audrey to board your 7-night river cruise. This morning marks the transition from land-based sightseeing to your river journey through the Rhine and Moselle valleys. You'll get settled into your cabin, meet other passengers, and the ship departs.

Trier
Today focuses on Trier's history. You can walk to the Porta Nigra gate and the Imperial Baths to see Roman ruins, or visit the Karl Marx house. For something different, there's an optional trip to Luxembourg to see the American War Cemetery where General George S. Patton is buried. Either choice gives you historical perspective on the region.

Bernkastel
An included wine tasting introduces you to Moselle Rieslings, which are worth trying because the region produces some exceptional ones. Later there's a special evening event at the Riesling Library. During the day, you can either take a scenic walk through Bernkastel village or join an optional biking tour along the Middle Moselle if you prefer a more active pace.

Alken
Alken is one of the oldest settlements on the Moselle, and the day gives you two options. Rüdesheim
Rüdesheim is known for its location along the Rhine and the Drosselgasse alley, which fills with shops and wine bars where locals and visitors mix. You'll have your choice of taking a scenic mini train ride through the area or doing a vineyard hike. Both give different perspectives on how deeply wine is part of daily life here.

Rhineland-Palatinate Region
This day features local experts showing you Rhineland-Palatinate traditions. One option takes you to a vinegar estate that produces specialty aperitifs, while another option visits a mill-turned-museum with international collections and gardens. Each shows a different side of how people have made their living in this region over time.

Breisach
Breisach sits between the Black Forest and French Alsace, positioning it at an interesting cultural crossroads. Breisach to Zurich
You'll disembark from the S.S. Audrey and transfer to the Dolder Grand Hotel in Zurich, which overlooks the city from a hilltop location. The hotel has dining options, spa facilities, and nature trails on its grounds. It's a comfortable place to settle in after your river cruise, and getting to Zurich itself from there is straightforward.
