Broome
You'll arrive in Broome and get oriented to this beach town in Western Australia's Kimberley region. Take a walk along Cable Beach where you can catch one of Australia's well-known sunsets, then head to Spinifex Brewery for dinner to try their craft brews. It's a nice way to ease into your trip and get a feel for the local scene.

Broome
A local Aboriginal guide will take you through Broome's historic spots and explain the city's pearling industry heritage. You'll learn about traditional bush foods and medicines, hear a private didgeridoo performance, and handle traditional Nyul Nyul artefacts. The afternoon is yours to spend however you'd like before heading to the beach or grabbing a drink at a beachside bar for sunset.

Broome
Head north about 38 kilometres to Willie Creek Pearl Farm. You'll tour the oyster nursery to see how cultured pearls are produced, then cruise the waters of Willie Creek to watch live oysters in their natural setting. After that comes a Pearling Masterclass where you'll see a live pearl harvest presentation.

Broome to Kununurra
Start your morning with free time to walk Cable Beach or check out the colourful streets and shops in Chinatown. Later you'll fly to Kununurra, the main town for East Kimberley, which sits near wildlife-rich waterways and the region's distinctive red landscape.

Kununurra
You'll take a scenic flight over Purnululu National Park and the Bungle Bungle Range with its striking orange and black-striped domes. During the flight you'll see Lake Argyle, the Argyle Diamond Mine, Carr Boyd Ranges, Osmand Ranges, and both the Ord River and Bow River. This evening ends with a leisurely cruise on Lake Argyle as the sun sets behind the Carr Boyd Ranges.

Kununurra
An Aboriginal guide will show you around Kununurra, talking through the Ord River Irrigation scheme and the Barramundi and Cockatoo Dreamtime Story at Diversion Dam. You'll wander through Mirima National Park (called a 'mini Bungles') and find bush foods and medicines there. The Ivanhoe Crossing causeway over the Ord River is on your route too. Spend the afternoon relaxing, then enjoy a gourmet outback dinner among boab trees and red cliffs with locally sourced ingredients and bush tucker flavours.
