London
You'll be picked up and transferred to your hotel where you can settle in and get comfortable. This afternoon, check the hotel reception boards for information about the tour and what comes next.

London
A guided city tour takes you through Westminster, Parliament, the City, and along the Thames this morning. You'll have free time in the afternoon to do your own thing. Then in the evening, meet at Piccadilly and walk through Leicester Square, Chinatown, and Soho before heading back to the hotel by bus.

London

- Day 4
London - Calais - Amiens - Paris
Head out from London and take the ferry across the Channel to France. After a quick stop in Calais, you'll go to Amiens to see the Gothic cathedral, walk through narrow streets, check out the floating gardens, and visit Jules Verne's house. From there, continue on to Paris, arriving by evening.

- Day 5
Paris
Start with the Palace of Versailles and its gardens. Later, head to Montmartre to wander the bohemian neighborhoods where artists and cabarets fill the streets. A local guide gives you a panoramic tour showing off Paris's grand avenues and iconic monuments before you return to the hotel.

- Day 6
Paris
Go to the Eiffel Tower in central Paris and climb up to the second floor. After that, take a relaxing Seine river cruise that lasts about one hour and fifteen minutes. You'll have the rest of the afternoon free to explore Paris however you like.

Paris - Beaune - Lyon
Travel through Bourgogne with its vineyards and famous wines. Stop in Beaune to see flower-lined streets, the hospice, and the wine museum. Continue to Lyon, the old capital of Roman Gaul, where you'll ride a cable car up to Notre-Dame de Fourviere for views across the city.

- Day 8
Lyon - Geneva - Zurich
Head into Switzerland and pass by Geneva's Palace of Nations and the English Garden with its flower clock and Jet d'Eau fountain. Travel along scenic lakeside routes with a stop in Neuchatel to explore the historic center and 10th-century castle before arriving in Zurich late in the afternoon.

- Day 9
Zurich
A guide shows you around Zurich, explaining the city's role as a financial center and its reputation for quality of life. Later, take a nearly two-hour scenic cruise on Lake Zurich with stops at small villages, then head to Rapperswil to see the medieval castle before returning to Zurich by train.

After lunch on the mountain, continue to Lucerne to explore the city before heading back to Zurich.

Leave Zurich early and cross the Alps into Italian-speaking Switzerland. Visit Bellinzona to see the three UNESCO-listed medieval castles on the hills. Stop in Como for its lakeside gardens and cathedral, then head to Milan where you'll see the Piazza del Duomo before checking into your hotel.

- Day 13
Rome
Join a three-hour guided tour that combines walking through Imperial Rome with a panoramic bus ride. You'll see the Arch of Constantine, Colosseum exterior, Imperial Forums, Circus Maximus, and other landmarks, ending at Vatican City around 11:00 a.m. Later in the day, get transferred to Trastevere to check out the cozy restaurants and lively nightlife, heading back to the hotel around 8:30 p.m.

Madrid
A comprehensive morning tour covers central Madrid with Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, Puerta de Alcala, Plaza de Colon, and Plaza Mayor. Visit Retiro Park to see the lake and Palacio de Cristal. You'll also get admission to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, home of Real Madrid. The afternoon is yours to do what you like, with a return transfer to the hotel in the evening.
