Itinerary
- Day 1
London
You'll arrive in London and get settled into your hotel. From there, the day is yours to explore at your own pace. Head to one of the city's famous museums, pay a visit to royal sites, or find a local pub for a pint and get a feel for the place before your UK and Ireland adventure really kicks off.

London to Stratford-upon-Avon to York to Bradford
Meet your Travel Director and the rest of the group this morning. You'll drive north through the English shires toward Stratford-upon-Avon to see Shakespeare's birthplace. From there, continue to York and take an orientation walk around York Minster cathedral. After dinner at a local restaurant, head to your hotel in Bradford for the night.

Yorkshire Dales to Lake District to Gretna Green to Glasgow
Travel through the Yorkshire Dales, passing through limestone hills, valleys, stone villages, and castles. Reach Lake Windermere in the Lake District where you can take an optional cruise if you'd like. Later, you'll cross into Scotland at Gretna Green and continue to Glasgow for an afternoon orientation tour of the city.

Glasgow to Edinburgh
Head to Edinburgh, Scotland's capital. Your Local Specialist will show you the Royal Mile, Palace of Holyroodhouse, Edinburgh Castle, and the Georgian-lined New Town streets. Spend the afternoon on your own, with the option to visit Rosslyn Chapel or Edinburgh Castle. An optional dinner with bagpipes is available in nearby Stirling if you want to experience that.

Edinburgh to Belfast to Dublin
Drive along the Ayrshire coast and pass Ailsa Craig before boarding a ferry to Northern Ireland. Stop in Belfast to see City Hall, Queen's University, and the Titanic dock area. Then board another ferry heading to Dublin, where you'll settle in for a two-night stay.

Dublin
Your Local Specialist takes you through Dublin's highlights, including Trinity College and St. Patrick's Cathedral, plus the Georgian Squares. The rest of the day is free, so you can walk Grafton Street, grab a pint at Temple Bar, or stroll along the River Liffey. An optional Irish dinner show is available this evening if that appeals to you.

Dublin to Kilkenny to Waterford
Drive through the Irish countryside to Kilkenny and check out its 12th-century castle. Continue to Waterford and visit the Waterford Crystal Showroom. You have the option to join a local guide for a walking tour and visit one of the area's oldest pubs. Dinner happens back at your hotel.

Cross St. George's Channel into Wales and arrive in Cardiff, the capital. See the Millennium Center, National Assembly, and the historic castle. Then choose between climbing the 900-year-old Norman keep of Cardiff Castle or joining a local guide for a walking tour that covers Welsh culture, flavors, and history.

Cardiff to Bath to Windsor to London
Cross the Severn Estuary back into England and head to Bath to explore its elegant Georgian architecture and Roman spa sites. Continue to Windsor and see the castle there, which has been continuously inhabited for about 900 years. You'll have time for a riverside walk and some shopping before arriving back in London.
