Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival
You'll arrive in Rome and get transferred to your hotel. Take the afternoon to settle in and get oriented. Stop by the hotel reception desk to check for information about your tour activities and any updates you should know about.
 - Day 2
Rome
This morning starts with a three-hour guided tour that combines walking through Imperial Rome with a panoramic bus ride. You'll see the Arch of Constantine, the exterior of the Colosseum, Imperial Forums, Circus Maximus, and the Baths of Caracalla, finishing up at Vatican City around 11:00 a.m. If you're interested, the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel are available as an optional visit. Later in the evening, you'll head to the Trastevere neighborhood for dinner, and your transfer back to the hotel happens around 8:30 p.m.

Rome
This is your free day to explore Rome however you'd like. Optional excursions are available depending on when you're traveling. If you're visiting April through October, you can take a trip out to the island of Capri. From November to March, Naples and Pompeii are available as options if you're interested in going.

Rome to Siena
You'll travel through Umbria starting in Orvieto, a medieval city that sits on top of a flat summit. Check out the viewpoint for great views, then ride escalators up to the medieval center where you can visit the Gothic cathedral. After that, head to Castiglione del Lago on Lake Trasimeno and take a leisurely walk around before having lunch. Then it's on to Siena in Tuscany where you'll see the famous Piazza del Campo and the Duomo, spending the rest of your afternoon exploring there.

Monteriggioni - San Gimignano - Florence
You'll leave Siena this morning and head to Monteriggioni, a medieval village where you can walk around the cobbled streets and check out the old walls surrounding the town. From there, it's on to San Gimignano, known for those distinctive tall medieval towers that define its skyline. After grabbing lunch, you'll continue toward Florence, pulling in during the early afternoon so you have time to settle in.

Florence
Start your Florence day at the Michelangelo viewpoint to take in the city views. Then you'll head down to the historic center for a guided tour covering the Gothic Cathedral (Duomo di Firenze), the Ponte Vecchio bridge with its goldsmith shops, and Piazza della Signoria, which is the political center of the city. After the tour finishes, you'll have free time to continue exploring on your own.

Florence to Rome
Today you're exploring Florence's museums at your own pace. The Gallery of the Academy has Michelangelo's famous David, or you can check out the Uffizi Gallery instead. Around 4:30 p.m., you'll depart from Florence and head back to Rome, arriving in the evening.
