The highlights of different countries gave a great overview of the areas other and we have learned a lot. The company’s customer service is fantastic. They provide all the detailed information about the tour, how to meet the guide… and they followed up twice during the 14 days tour to make sure everything is ok. Our tour guide Eraldo is just amazing. He is very knowledgeable and he is a fantastic driver. On top of it, he is very caring and detailed. Every time we stood up, he would make sure we did not leave anything behind ; he made sure sure to show us how to get back to hotel when we insisted on going around by ourselves …and he speaks perfect English and very well read. - Sally· August 16th, 2025Our tour guide, Julian, was the highlight of our tour. He looked after us so well, drive so safely, and was so calm in the face of any challenge. The itinerary itself could be streamlined, as we had to repeat several parts of the trip. Better planning would prevent this. Some of the hotels were not great - hard beds, small rooms, tiny showers - but they were generally well located for walking around. We couldn't understand why our guide often had to stay far away from us in substandard accommodation.Show more

However to create an idea of the standard hotels, please find below some of the hotels we use as partners: Hotel Argo in Belgrade or similar, Hotel Lion Sofia or similar, Business Hotel Plovdiv or similar, Nobel Boutique in Bucharest or similar. Hotel upgrade is possible on extra charge. In regards to other people, on this date we do not have others yet however the tour is open for guests to join.

Macedonia and would like to know if there is a single supplement for solo traveler or you could pair me with another same gender (female) solo traveler. My travel date is flexible.

For the tour of Serbia, Bulgaria and Romania, we do not have others confirm yet but you can book with a single supplement. The tour now has 10% sale. For the tour of Gems of Albania, Kosovo & N. Macedonia from Tirana we have the below confirm departure. Dates: 11 May, 9 October. Price: 1,317 Euros / Person + 315 Euros for the single room.

Traveler•Written December 2024I had not realized the Semi-Private Tour; Serbia, Bulgaria & Romania from / to Belgrade is so expensive for solo traveler supplement, it's double the price. Looks like if I were to take this tour I will have to find a friend to join me. Gems of Albania, Kosovo & N. Macedonia from Tirana looks more affordable for me with supplement, but the confirmed departure dates you recommended are not agreeable with me.

The single supplement fee guarantees the tour departure even for one participant. That is why the price is more expensive. It would be great if you can find someone to join you on the tour. In regards to Gems of Albania, Kosovo & N. Macedonia from Tirana, this tour is one of our best selling so if you can check at a later stage we might have more confirm departures.
