Prague - Lednice - Gyor - Budapest
Head out early toward Moravia to see Lednice, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with castle grounds and gardens worth exploring. You'll cross through Slovakia and stop in Gyor for lunch and a walk around town. Then it's on to Budapest, arriving in the mid-afternoon. An evening transfer takes you to the pedestrian area with traditional restaurants and live music happening.

- Day 5
Budapest - Bratislava - Trencin - Krakow
Leave early and head through Slovakia toward Bratislava, the capital sitting along the Danube. Walk through the historic center at the base of the castle, then continue to Trencin, a medieval town with an impressive castle and lively center where you'll stop for lunch. From there, travel through forested hill landscapes into Poland, reaching Krakow by evening.

Have time for lunch and a stroll around. Continue to Torun, a Gothic walled city with a UNESCO World Heritage Site historic center and the birthplace of Copernicus. You can visit his museum and home if interested. Arrive in Gdansk by late afternoon, a historic city where an evening walk is worth doing.

You'll pass by the Museum of the Second World War (note it's closed Mondays). Head to nearby Sopot, an elegant seaside resort with a large Baltic beach and energetic atmosphere. Its wooden pier, one of Europe's longest, gives great views. Have time to walk around and enjoy lunch. Return to Gdansk for the evening with free time to explore.
