Itinerary
- Day 1
Rome
You'll arrive in Rome and get transferred to your hotel where your guide meets you with the essential details about your trip. Later in the evening, head over to Via Cavour where you can grab dinner at one of the many restaurants in the area, whether you're in the mood for Italian, Indian, Chinese, or something else entirely.

- Day 2
Rome
Start with a three-hour guided tour that combines walking through Imperial Rome with a panoramic bus ride. You'll see the Arch of Constantine, Colosseum exterior, Imperial Forums, Circus Maximus, Baths of Caracalla, Basilica of Saint Mary Major, Pyramid of Cestius, and Castel Sant'Angelo. The tour wraps up at Vatican City around 11:00 a.m., and if you're interested, there's an optional visit to Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. After that, head to Trastevere for dinner and you'll be back at the hotel around 8:30 p.m.

- Day 3
Rome to Florence
Leave Rome early and drive north through nice landscapes toward Florence. Once you arrive, start at Piazzale Michelangelo for great city views, then walk into the historic center. After lunch, a local guide takes you through key spots like Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, and Piazza della Signoria. You'll have free time to see more of the city on your own, and then find dinner somewhere in the district to end the day.

- Day 4
Florence to Venice
You'll travel through the Apennine mountain landscapes and head toward Venice. When you arrive, take a boat across the Giudecca Canal to reach the Island of Venice. With a local guide, visit St. Mark's Square and then check out the Murano Glass Factory to see how they work with glass using traditional techniques. You have free time to explore on your own before settling into accommodation in the Mestre district.

- Day 5
Venice to Zurich
Leave Venice and travel through mountain and valley landscapes toward Austria. You'll stop in Innsbruck to walk around the historic town center and grab lunch. From there, continue through beautiful Tyrolean valleys as you cross into Switzerland, and you'll arrive in Zurich by evening to settle in.

- Day 6
Zurich to Lucerne to Zurich
This day is all about alpine views with mountains and clear lakes all around. Stop in Grindelwald for a coffee, then take the cable car up and walk along a winding path to a suspended bridge where you can cross for glacier views if you're up for it. Lunch happens on the mountain. Later, head to Lucerne to walk around the charming streets before returning to Zurich. There's an optional full-day Mount Titlis trip available with a rotating cable car to the 3,000+ meter summit.

- Day 7
Zurich to Milan
Leave Zurich early and cross the Alps into the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland. Stop in Bellinzona to check out three UNESCO World Heritage medieval castles on the hills above the city and wander the charming downtown area. Continue into Italy to Como, known for its beautiful lakeside gardens and cathedral. Have lunch in Como, then proceed to Milan where your guide shows you Piazza del Duomo before you check into your hotel.

- Day 8
Milan to Pisa to Rome
Head to Pisa and take a small tourist train to Piazza dei Miracoli where you'll have time to see the famous Leaning Tower and the other structures in this historic complex. After that, make your way to Rome, arriving later in the day. Your tour comes to an end here, leaving you with good memories from the journey.
