- VRVicki· May 22nd, 2025After 45 years of independent, mainly solo travelling, I decided to take my first tour and selected the Discover the Baltics with Exodus. What a good decision that turned out to be! The Tour was led by the wonderful Minda who looked after the group and provided a wealth of information on the Baltics. The local guides we had throughout the tour were also fabulous and gave insight into each distince region. I would highly recommend this tour and can definitiely see myself taking another tour.Show moreExodus Adventure Travels commented on this reviewWe would like to sincerely thank you for taking the time to post a review of your experience on our Discover the Baltics tour and we are so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your adventure. - KCKaren· May 21st, 2025This was an excellent tour. Our guide Andrius was superb. His knowledge of the history of these countries from the 13 century to now is impressive. He lived through “ Soviet times” and as we toured the occupation and liberation museums and physically see the proximity of these countries to Russia and hear of their history of occupation and horror, no wonder they are so fervently supportive of Ukraine in the current war with Russia. Putin is a monster! Andrius suggested excellent restaurants to give us the opportunity to try delicious local foods and drinks. We could attend as a group or branch out on our own. He was funny, caring and professional. I was very impressed with Exodus and the itinerary. All the hotels were very nice and in excellent locations with superb breakfasts. The buses we travelled in were modern and comfortable and we were fortunate to be with a great group of fellow travellers. There was a nice balance of guided tours and opportunities to explore on your own. I would definitely book with Exodus again.Show moreExodus Adventure Travels commented on this reviewWe are so happy to hear that you had a great time on our Discover the Baltics tour and we really appreciate you sharing your thoughts and providing us with feedback. - HBHugh· May 6th, 2023Visited places we hadn't before. All of them interesting places. Good, sympathetic tour guide. Good restaurants, good hotels, but the one in Riga was naff. - Mick· September 25th, 2019the tour was very interesting and it was different. enjoyed the history and the walking tours. ( usually three hour walking tours ) it was better than i thought and enjoyed the different culture. didnt like the accommodation. location was great in most places but there was always a but... breakfast was ok and in a couple of hotels below average. our bus was spacious as we didnt have a full bus load. our guide was good and did her job and gave us a good insight into local cultures and everyday life.Show moreTrip date: August 2019
- EOElizabeth· July 3rd, 2019It was a great itinerary covering 3 countries, 6 towns and National Parks. The hotels were a mixed bunch with 2 having major problems with queuing for breakfasts and some small rooms. However they were well situated for doing walking city tours. Our tour guide was excellent with a great knowledge of the Baltic States.Show moreTrip date: June 2019
- CWCynthia· July 25th, 2018The itinerary was good but I would have preferred a little more time in Tallinn and Vilnius and a little less time in Riga. The transportation was good i.e. air conditioned bus with extra seats to spread out. The accommodation was hit and miss. Some of the hotels were great (i.e. large, beautiful, etc.) and some were terrible (i.e. dirty, no air conditioning, etc.). The buffet breakfasts at the hotel were exactly as expected. Some of the local tour guides spoke excellent English and were very informative and enthusiastic, but some were the opposite.Show moreTrip date: July 2018

Asked on March 25th, 2024How much are the optional tours, if any? I do not see any listed but want to know what other costs to account for. Are any meals included other than breakfast? Have any of the issues given in previous reviews (2019,2022) been fixed - such as better hotels or tour/local guides? I assume you offer roomshare with another single female if available? Otherwise, what is cost of single room? What, if anything else, is important to know about this trip that might not be in the itinerary or information on tour radar?
- Exodus Adventure TravelsOperator•Written March 2024
For this tour - activities mentioned are included in the itinerary as we do not have any further optional activities on this tour. However there may be entrance fees for historical sites, museums etc. Just breakfasts are included on this tour. The Tour Leader may still arrange group dinner (payable) at certain restaurants if there are passengers who would like help. Lunch costs vary depending on the venue. If you buy lunch at a local shop, €10-12 will be enough, but if we stop at a cafe you are likely to spend closer to €15. Dinner will usually be about €23-€35. A beer will cost around €5-€8 and a bottle of wine €20-€35. Budget around €30-40 per day for meals. Entrance fees to sites will be between €6 and €17. Yes, if you are traveling solo - you have two options. You can be matched with someone of the same gender or if you would like your own room (availability dependent) for a supplement. The single supplement for 2024 and 2025 can range from $555 to $600. This is subject to change until booked.

Traveler•Written January 2023My dog is trained to lessen the effects of seizures. He travels regularly on British Airways. We have visited other countries but have not used a tour company. MacDuff and I do not require any special services.
- Exodus Adventure TravelsOperator•Written January 2023
After chatting with our local suppliers, I would like to let you know that we can accommodate you. A few things to keep in mind: I have been told that in the Baltics regarding the restaurants, the approach is not the same as you may have found in the UK or other EU countries and you may have to sit outside with McDuff for meals if that is something you are prepared to do?

Traveler•Written January 2023What will be my total fee for a October booking?
- Exodus Adventure TravelsOperator•Written January 2023
I have added the price for your initial inquiry - the latest departure we have for 2023 is the 20th September to 01 October 2023. Would you prefer the later departure? it looks as though it would be the same price.
