    London

    You'll be transferred to your hotel from the airport, giving you time to drop off bags and freshen up. Once you're settled, head down to hotel reception in the afternoon to check the boards for information about available tours and activities happening during your stay.

  2. Day 2

    London

    This morning starts with a guided city tour where you'll walk through Westminster, Parliament, and the City while seeing the Thames from different angles. The afternoon is yours to rest or take the optional trip out to Windsor and its castle. Later, meet the group at Piccadilly and walk through Leicester Square, Chinatown, and Soho before heading back to the hotel by bus.

    London to Cambridge - York - Durham

    Head north from London and stop in Cambridge to walk around the college grounds and see the architecture. After lunch, you'll continue toward York to see the cathedral, Roman walls, and shopping streets there. Then it's on to Durham, a medieval town where a large cathedral and castle dominate the landscape and you'll spend the night.

    Durham to Alnwick - Edinburgh

    Travel into Scotland with a stop in Alnwick to see the gardens and medieval castle (yes, the one from Harry Potter films). From there, continue to Edinburgh and arrive around midday. A local guide will take you on a panoramic tour through Scotland's capital, a UNESCO World Heritage site with lots to see.

    Edinburgh to Inverness - Loch Ness - Fort Augustus - Glasgow

    This journey goes deep into the Scottish Highlands starting with coffee and a walk in Pitlochry. You'll pass Inverness near Loch Ness, stop at Urquhart Castle, and take a boat on the loch itself. After that, pass Fort Augustus and Fort William (where Ben Nevis rises in the distance), travel across high plateaus, and follow the shores of Loch Lomond before reaching Glasgow. Note that if you're traveling between November 15 and February 28, the itinerary changes to include a whisky distillery visit in Pitlochry, Stirling Castle, and The Kelpies sculptures instead.

Spend some time around the town hall and walking along the extensive canal network.
