Itinerary
- Day 1
Les Baux - Avignon - Lyon
Start in Arles, a UNESCO World Heritage city where Roman ruins and medieval architecture mix with Van Gogh's history. From there, you'll head to the medieval village of Les Baux and check out the Carrières de Lumières, an art and light show set inside old quarries underground. After grabbing lunch and walking through Avignon to see the Palais des Papes, continue on to Lyon. Once you arrive, you'll walk through the World Heritage old town and take a cable car up to Notre-Dame de Fourvière basilica, which gives you great views across the city.

- Day 2
Burgundy Region - Dijon
Leave Lyon and head into Burgundy's wine region starting with Tournus, where you can see the old stone gate and large abbey. Next stop is Beaune, the wine capital, where you'll have time for lunch and to look around, maybe visiting the wine museum or the historic hospice. After that, drive to Savigny Castle, a 15th-century fortress packed with unusual museums featuring motorbikes, racing cars, planes, and helicopters. By evening you'll reach Dijon, Burgundy's capital, known for its lively medieval and Renaissance streets plus the Palace of the Dukes.

- Day 3
Fontenay Abbey - Burgundy - Paris
This morning you'll visit Fontenay Abbey, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and important Cistercian monastery. Then head to Semur-en-Auxois, a medieval city surrounded by impressive ancient walls. You'll stop in Vézelay next, one of France's most beautiful villages, where the immense basilica was a starting point for the Way of St. James. There's time here for lunch and a walk around town. By afternoon, you'll drive toward Paris, arriving in the evening.
