- Day 1
Las Vegas to Grand Canyon National Park
You'll meet your group at a central Las Vegas location and head out into the Mojave Desert for your first adventure. The hike takes you along the South Kaibab Trail to Ooh Aah Point, where you get those wide-angle views of the Grand Canyon's layered rock formations and steep cliffs. After the hike, you'll travel to Tusayan, Arizona for the night and have a welcome dinner with the other travelers in your group.

- Day 2
Grand Canyon National Park
This is a full-day hike starting from Grand Canyon Village on the Bright Angel Trail heading down to Plateau Point. You'll pass through Indian Garden, which is about 4.5 miles from the rim and gives you a chance to rest and refill your water bottles in this green spot surrounded by desert. From there, another 1.5 miles on a spur trail gets you to Plateau Point for views of the Colorado River below. The whole round trip covers roughly 12 miles with significant elevation changes, so pace yourself.

Grand Canyon to Page
You're traveling from Tusayan to Page today, and on the way you'll stop at Horseshoe Bend to see the Colorado River's dramatic horseshoe-shaped turn in the landscape. Later, a Navajo guide leads you through Antelope Canyon X, the less-crowded slot canyon with sculpted sandstone walls and light filtering down through the narrow openings above. Your guide shares information about the canyon's geology, history, and what it means culturally to the Navajo people.

- Day 4
Page to Kayenta
After breakfast, you'll head through Navajo Nation toward Kayenta with a stop at Navajo National Monument to walk around sandstone canyons and see cliff dwellings built by ancestral Puebloans. Then it's on to Monument Valley for a Jeep tour led by Navajo guides who tell you about the tall rock formations and the stories connected to them. By evening, you'll have a traditional Navajo dinner under the open sky before settling in for the night.

- Day 5
Kayenta to Chinle
You're heading from Kayenta to Canyon de Chelly National Monument where a Navajo Tribal Park ranger guides you through the area. You'll see the tall sandstone walls, ancient cliff dwellings, and rock carvings while learning about both the ancestral Puebloans and the Navajo families living there today. The drive continues to Chinle, a small town in the quiet desert where you'll stay overnight.

Chinle to Flagstaff
Today you're heading toward Flagstaff with stops along the way. First comes Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument where you can walk through lava fields and see the colorful cinder cones up close. Next, Walnut Canyon National Monument has cliffside homes built by the Sinagua people that you can explore. You'll roll into Flagstaff by late afternoon, a mountain town surrounded by the San Francisco Peaks, and have your evening free to check out the local restaurants and shops.

Flagstaff to Las Vegas
After your final breakfast, you're heading back toward Las Vegas along a section of Route 66 with classic desert scenery on both sides. You'll stop in Seligman, a quirky town with retro diners, colorful murals painted on buildings, and vintage cars scattered around for the atmosphere. From there, the drive continues west through more desert that gradually transitions into Nevada. You should roll into Las Vegas around 6 pm for your airport transfer and departure.
