- Day 1
Colombo
You'll arrive at Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport where your private driver meets you for the transfer to your hotel. Check-in starts at 14:00, so if you get there early, you can drop off your luggage and relax in the lobby or grab a coffee while your room gets ready.

Anuradhapura - Sigiriya
After breakfast, head to Negombo Fish Market to see the early morning chaos with colorful boats and fresh catches everywhere. Then it's about a 4-hour drive to Anuradhapura where you'll walk through the UNESCO World Heritage ruins, checking out ancient stupas, rock carvings, royal palaces, and the sacred Sri Maha Bodhi tree. Later that evening, you'll continue on to Sigiriya and have the rest of the day free.

Minneriya - Sigiriya
This morning you're up early to start your sunrise hike up Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a 5th-century UNESCO site. The climb takes you through landscaped gardens past the famous rock frescoes and the Mirror Wall until you reach the top with views stretching out in every direction. After descending, you'll head to Minneriya National Park for an afternoon safari where you can spot elephants, leopards, and sambar deer around the ancient Minneriya Tank before heading back to Sigiriya.

Dambulla - Kandy
Following breakfast, you'll drive 30 minutes to Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site with five cave shrines containing over 150 Buddha statues and murals from the 1st century BC. After climbing up to explore the temple and get panoramic views of the countryside, you'll head to Kandy, which takes about 2 hours, leaving your afternoon open.

Nuwara Eliya - Kandy
You'll start with breakfast and then board a scenic 4-hour train journey from Kandy winding through tea plantations, misty mountains, hillside villages, waterfalls, and rolling green landscape. Once you arrive, a guide takes you through Pedro Tea Estate on the hillside where you can try freshly brewed Ceylon tea. The return to Kandy by coach takes approximately 3 hours.

Colombo
After breakfast, your guide will take you to the Temple of the Tooth, a sacred pilgrimage site beside Kandy Lake that holds the tooth relic of Lord Buddha and features golden roofs and intricate carvings throughout. Then you'll drive about 4 hours to Colombo where the afternoon is yours to walk through Pettah Bazaar with its busy streets, vibrant markets, spice shops, and a mix of colonial buildings and modern skyscrapers.

Colombo Departure
You'll have breakfast and then meet your driver for the transfer to Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport. Plan to leave your hotel at least 4 hours before your flight to give yourself plenty of time for check-in and security before you head home.
