Itinerary
- Day 1
Vega de Terrón
You'll board the MS Douro Cruiser at Vega de Terrón pier starting at 4:00 p.m. After getting settled into your cabin, there's a welcome dinner where you'll meet the crew and other passengers. If you're coming from Madrid, an optional group transfer is available for €58 per person, which includes a stop in Salamanca along the way.

Douro River to Pinhão
The ship sails through the Douro River valley with views of the surrounding landscape. You'll arrive in Pinhão in the early afternoon, which sits in the heart of the Douro wine region. There's a visit to a traditional Quinta estate with wine tasting included, and you can see the beautiful 19th-century railway station with its decorative tile panels.

- Day 3
Pinhão to Régua
After lunch, the Douro River continues beneath you as the ship heads toward Régua, known as the wine capital of the Douro Valley. This UNESCO World Heritage Site has dramatic terraced vineyards carved into slate slopes that you'll see from the water. Optional excursions to Casa Mateus and the Douro Museum are available if you want to explore further.

Régua to Porto
An early morning departure from Régua gets you on your way to Porto. The ship sails through the river valley before arriving just after lunch. By evening, you have free time to wander Porto's cobbled streets, check out the Ribeira district, explore local squares, and get a feel for the city.

- Day 5
Porto
A panoramic city tour is included, taking you through Porto's historic architecture and hills. You'll see the Ribeira district up close with its views over the city, cross the Ponte Dom Luis I iron bridge, and tour the port wine cellars where the region's famous wines are produced and aged.

Porto Disembarkation
