Porto
You'll board the MS Douro Cruiser at Douro Marina starting at 3:00 p.m. After getting settled into your cabin, there's time to relax on board before heading to the welcome dinner with the crew later in the evening. You'll stay overnight on the ship.

- Day 2
Porto
Meals are included throughout the day while you're on board. A guided panoramic tour takes you through Porto's highlights, including the Ribeira district with its charming streets and the Ponte Dom Luis I iron bridge. You'll visit the port wine cellars and get views of boats passing underneath this historic structure. Another night on board.

Entre-os-Rios
The cruise departs Porto at sunrise, heading toward Entre-os-Rios where breakfast happens en route. Once you arrive, you can walk around this town situated where the Douro and Tâmega rivers meet. The Ponte Duarte Pacheco bridge and the Romanesque Church of São Miguel de Entre-os-Rios are worth checking out, or explore the Museu da Pedra. There's also a thermal spa nearby with old trees, and an optional excursion to Guimaraes if you prefer. Sleep on board again.

Régua
Full board meals included. You'll reach Régua, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the wine capital of the Douro Valley, with its distinctive amphitheater landscape of slate slopes and terraced vineyards cut into the rock. An included wine tasting at a traditional Quinta lets you learn about this region, which has been regulated as a wine area since 1756. Overnight on board.

- Day 5
Régua to Porto
After an early morning departure from Régua, the cruise heads back to Porto, arriving shortly after lunch. The evening is yours to explore at your own pace, so you can wander through Porto's architecture and cobbled streets, walk along the Douro River, visit vineyards, or just spend time in the city squares soaking in the local atmosphere. You'll remain on board for another night.
