Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Brussels

You'll land at Brussels International Airport where a Uniworld representative meets you. If your package includes group or private transfer, they'll take you directly to the ship. Get settled in your cabin and spend the evening getting comfortable before the journey begins.

  2. Day 2

    Antwerp

Antwerp's your first stop, Belgium's famous diamond center. The Cathedral of Our Lady stands out with its UNESCO-listed belfry if you want to see the architecture up close, or hop on the metro to move around like a local. Grab some Belgian beer, waffles, and fries while you're exploring the Golden Age neighborhoods.

    Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

    Optional Activities

    • Antwerp Historic Downtown Highlights
    • Do as the Locals Do: Antwerp Walking Tour

  3. Day 3

    Bruges or Ghent

Today you choose between two options. Bruges offers one of Europe's best-preserved medieval cities with cobblestone streets and historic buildings. Ghent gives you a different feel with medieval architecture mixed alongside cutting-edge boutiques and galleries. Either way, you're seeing Belgium's rich cultural side.

    Ghent
  4. Day 4

    Dordrecht

Dordrecht, Holland's oldest city, is next. Around 1,000 historic monuments are scattered throughout, and they blend right in with the modern city center. Wander around the boutique shops and charming restaurants tucked between the old buildings and newer developments.

    Meals
    Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

    Optional Activities

    Rotterdam

Rotterdam shows you modern Dutch innovation with its contemporary architecture and eco-friendly design. The Maas Tower, Montevideo, Millennium Tower, and Erasmus Bridge create an impressive skyline. You can optionally visit the Mauritshuis museum in The Hague or take a trip out to see the colorful windmills at Kinderdijk if you prefer something more traditional.

    Meals
    Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Two options for this day. The Dutch Freedom Museum covers Holland's WWII liberation history and offers perspective on the country's past. Alternatively, take a walking tour through Nijmegen to get a sense of the city on foot and see neighborhoods at a slower pace.

  7. Day 7

    Hoorn

  8. Day 8

    Zaandam

Zaandam sits just north of Amsterdam and feels quieter than the capital. Traditional green cottages, windmills, and craft shops give it character, plus there are quirky modern additions mixed in. Consider visiting Keukenhof Gardens, The Tulip Experience, or taking a walking tour of the modern architecture depending on your interests.
