Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu
You land at Kathmandu International Airport and work through customs formalities. After clearing immigration and getting your visa sorted, a representative from Yoganshi Travel meets you for the transfer to your hotel. The drive gives you a first look at the city before you check in and settle in for the night.

- Day 2
Kathmandu
After grabbing breakfast at the hotel, head to Boudhanath Stupa where Buddhist communities gather around this iconic site. From there, wander through the busy markets at Ason, Indra Chowk, and Machendra Bahal. You'll see local vendors, textiles, and traditional goods before heading back for dinner.

- Day 3
Kathmandu to Paro
A morning flight takes you to Paro at 2,250 meters/7,380 feet. Once you arrive, visit Paro Dzong sitting high on its ridge, then see Ta Dzong, a circular watchtower that holds the National Museum inside. By evening you're back at your hotel for dinner.

- Day 4
Paro to Thimphu
After breakfast, trek up to Taktsang Monastery at 3,120 meters/10,230 feet, known as The Tiger's Nest and one of the Himalayas' most sacred pilgrimage sites. The hike takes a few hours with great views. Later, travel toward Thimphu with a stop at Tschogang Lhakhang temple for photos. You'll have dinner and spend the night in Thimphu.

- Day 5
Thimphu
You'll start this morning at Memorial Chorten, a prominent stupa with golden spires and bells, then see the massive Buddha Dordenma statue that overlooks the city. Check out the School of Traditional Arts to watch Bhutanese craftsmanship. In the afternoon, visit Changgangkha Temple and the Thimphu Zoo where you can see takin, Bhutan's rare national animal.

Thimphu to Punakha
After breakfast, head to Punakha with a stop at Semtokha Dzong along the way. You'll cross Dochu-La Pass at 3,570 meters/11,710 feet where the Himalayan views are really nice. That afternoon, explore Punakha Dzong and take a walk through the fertility village to Chimi Lhakhang temple.

Punakha to Paro
After breakfast, transfer back to Paro, crossing Dochula Pass again. This afternoon, visit Kyichu Lhakhang temple, an important historical site in Bhutanese Buddhism. You'll stroll through Paro town and see traditional houses and local life before heading back for dinner.

Paro to Kathmandu
Breakfast comes first, then you transfer to the airport for your flight to Kathmandu. Once there, visit Pashupatinath, which locals call the Benares of Nepal, and explore Bhadgaon, a medieval city protected by UNESCO. Walk the narrow alleys admiring carved wood details on houses and old pagoda temples before dinner in Kathmandu.

- Day 9
Kathmandu
Head to Swayambhunath Stupa perched on a hill with great views across the Kathmandu Valley. Then explore the historic center including Durbar Square and the residence of the child goddess. Later in the afternoon, visit Patan, the old capital of the Kingdom, then return for dinner.

Kathmandu
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your return flight. You can also arrange to be dropped at a different location if preferred. Check with your representative about any final arrangements for your onward journey.
