Itinerary
- Day 1
Entebbe
You'll land in Entebbe and have time to settle in before the 6 pm welcome meeting where you'll meet your leader and other travelers. If you get there early, the Entebbe Botanical Garden is worth a walk through, or check out the Entebbe Craft Village for local goods. Then join everyone for dinner to kick things off.

- Day 2
Entebbe to Jinja
Head out from Entebbe toward Jinja, known as Uganda's adventure hub and where the Nile River starts. After you reach your accommodation, there's time to relax or wander around the river area. The Jinja Farmer's Market is nearby if you want to grab fresh local snacks and get a feel for the town right away.

- Day 3
Jinja
This day is completely yours in Jinja. You can try whitewater rafting if you're into that, bike through town, or take a boat cruise along the Nile's source to see the river from the water. It's flexible, so you'll do whatever appeals to you most.

Jinja to Kibale Forest National Park
Start with rolex, the popular Ugandan street food, then travel to Kibale Forest National Park. This tropical rainforest is home to 13 primate species and 375 birds, with chimpanzees, baboons, and blue monkeys throughout. You'll settle into your camp once you arrive.

- Day 5
Kibale Forest National Park
Expert trackers will lead you into the rainforest to find chimpanzees in their natural setting. The paths are muddy and vegetation is thick, but it's worth it for the wildlife viewing. By afternoon, take a guided walk through Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary to spot birds, monkeys, and butterflies. The evening is free back at your accommodation.

Kibale Forest to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
A game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park in the morning gets you seeing elephants, buffalo, and antelope. From there, you'll head south through rolling hills, tea plantations, and crater lakes to reach Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Stop for lunch and coffee in a local village, and there's an option to visit Batooro and Bakiiga communities if you're interested.

- Day 7
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Local guides and experienced trackers take you trekking for mountain gorillas across rugged, mountainous terrain. Conditions are challenging with wet and muddy paths, but you'll spend an hour with a gorilla family in their habitat, which makes it worthwhile. There's a picnic lunch in the rainforest, time to freshen up at camp, and an optional afternoon visit to the Batwa community. Dinner by the fireplace wraps up the day.

Bwindi to Lake Mburo
Leave Bwindi and travel to Lake Mburo, Uganda's smallest savannah park with woodlands, rolling hills, wetlands, and lakes mixed throughout. An optional afternoon game drive lets you look for zebras, hippos, buffaloes, and impalas. Your travel group gathers for a final dinner together to celebrate the trip.

Lake Mburo to Entebbe
Start early for the drive back to Entebbe with a game drive through Lake Mburo on the way. Once you arrive in Entebbe, you'll say goodbye to your travel mates as the journey ends. If you want to stay longer, contact your booking agent beforehand to arrange extra accommodation.
