You'll arrive in Whittier, Alaska and step onto the shores of Prince William Sound where your cruise leader and fellow travelers are waiting. After meeting everyone, you'll head to dinner together before boarding the Norwegian Jade. It's a chance to settle in and get to know the group before the ship sets sail.

Hubbard Glacier
The ship cruises past Hubbard Glacier, North America's largest calving glacier. You'll watch massive icebergs break off from this 1,200-foot-deep glacier that stretches 76 miles long. The towering blue surface rises to 40 stories high, so tall it actually dwarfs the ship's upper decks. It's the kind of view that stays with you.

Icy Strait Point
You're docking at Icy Strait Point on Chichagof Island where Tlingit culture comes to life. The restored salmon cannery complex has a museum, local shops, and restaurants to explore. Then you'll board a high-speed catamaran for an included whale and mammal cruise to spot what's swimming in these waters.

Juneau
In Juneau, the included Glacier and City Tour starts in downtown where locals and Tlingit Indians share the area's history. After that, you'll head out to Mendenhall Glacier and can hike scenic trails with views of both the glacier and Mendenhall Lake. There's also an optional Visitor Center if you want more details about the glacier's geology.

Skagway
Skagway's Gold Rush heritage lines its charming boardwalk with historic buildings everywhere. The included Railroad and Bus Tour takes you through the Bennett Lake area on the famous White Pass train, then stops at the 1910 Bennett Station museum. Later you'll travel by vehicle to Emerald Lake up in the Yukon Territory.

The heated cabin and open-air observation decks let you learn about maritime history and Tlingit culture while you see historic totem poles, including Ketchikan's tallest.

At Sea
You're relaxing as the ship cruises through Alaska's Inside Passage, the water route between the Gulf of Alaska and Puget Sound. From the deck you can look for whales, orcas, sea lions, seals, bears, eagles, and raptors. The Alaska scenery keeps changing as you move through this natural corridor.

Vancouver
The ship arrives in Vancouver, positioned between the snow-dusted North Shore Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. This city blends big-city sophistication with small-town charm, so there's plenty to take in. If you're interested, Queen Elizabeth Park is optional to visit, a 130-acre civic arboretum with modern sculptures by Henry Moore.
