Meet your local leader and fellow travelers at 1 pm for a guided walk through Istanbul's Old City. You'll check out the Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, and Suleymaniye Cami to get oriented. Later, join the group for dinner and try some Turkish cuisine.

Istanbul
This morning, you'll participate in a hands-on Ebru water marbling workshop with a local instructor using traditional materials. Create your own piece to take home. The rest of the day is free to explore on your own or consider a Kadikoy Local Taste Tour or Bosphorus cruise based on your leader's suggestions.

Istanbul to Cappadocia
Head to the airport this morning for a flight to Cappadocia. In the afternoon, you'll join a hands-on cooking class with the Hereni Women's Cooperative. Learn to prepare regional specialties including local soup, manti (Turkish dumplings), tandır bread, and traditional dessert while supporting local women.

- Day 4
Cappadocia
Start with an optional sunrise hot air balloon flight over Cappadocia's landscape, or watch balloons from the ground if you prefer. Later, you'll explore Kaymakli Underground City with its 9th-10th century caverns and tunnels built as a defensive stronghold. The rest of the day is free to relax or consider attending a whirling dervish performance tonight.

Cappadocia to Antalya
Drive across the Taurus Mountains toward Antalya, stopping in Konya for lunch and a break. Upon arrival, your leader takes you on an orientation walk through the Old City along cobblestoned streets, visiting the clock tower, Hadrian's Gate, the old Roman Harbour, and historic Kaleici. Finish by swimming in the Mediterranean.

Antalya to Kas
Say goodbye to Antalya this morning and travel to Kas, the whitewashed coastal town. Check into your hotel, then take an orientation walk through this charming seaside village. The afternoon is free to explore on your own, visit waterfront restaurants for sunset, head to the beach, or browse handicraft markets.

Kas
Set sail along the Turkish Mediterranean coast today. You'll jump in a boat and discover sunken ruins of an ancient Lycian city, explore rock tombs, and swim in clear waters while cruising the coastline. Your hosts prepare a homemade lunch mid-way through. Return to Kas for a free evening.

Kas to Pamukkale to Selcuk
Travel inland to Pamukkale, which means 'cotton castle'. Hot springs with high calcium content cascade over cliff edges creating bright white terraces. You'll take a dip in these thermal springs used as a spa since 200 BC. Walk through ancient Hierapolis, exploring its temples and impressive amphitheatre, then continue to Selcuk for the evening.

- Day 11
Selcuk
Visit Ephesus this morning, one of the world's best-preserved Greco-Roman cities. A local guide leads you through remarkably intact ruins, showing you running water systems, public toilets, a medical institute, and Roman baths from 2,000 years ago. After the tour, you'll have a gozleme lunch (Turkish stuffed turnover) made by local women. The rest of the day is free to swim, relax on the beach, or visit the Temple of Artemis ruins.

Climb the 4,500-year-old ruins and enjoy views across the Plains of Troy toward the Dardanelles and Gallipoli Peninsula.

Canakkale to Istanbul

Meet your group this evening for a farewell dinner celebrating the end of your adventure.
