Itinerary
- Day 1
Colombo to Sigiriya
Your tour leader picks you up at the airport and drives you toward Sigiriya, which takes about 3 hours and 20 minutes covering 146 km. On the way, you'll stop at the Golden Cave Temple in Dambulla to walk around and see the carved Buddha statues. Depending on where the elephants are located that day, there's a chance for a 4x4 safari in the evening at one of three national parks: Minneriya, Kaudulla, or Hurulu Eco. After that, you'll head to your hotel for the night.

- Day 2
Sigiriya to Kandy
Start early to climb up Sigiriya Rock and catch the views before the heat sets in, then return to your hotel for breakfast. From there, you'll drive to Kandy, which is 86 km away and takes about 2 hours 30 minutes. Along the route, you stop at Nalanda Gedige, check out the Matale Spice Garden, and visit a gem museum and workshop. Once in Kandy, take a city tour that includes a Hindu temple, then watch a traditional Kandyan cultural dance performance in the evening. Before bed, you'll visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic.

- Day 3
Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, you head to Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens in Kandy to walk around the grounds. Then you'll drive toward Nuwara Eliya, a distance of 77 km that takes roughly 3 hours. The drive includes stops at Ramboda Falls where you can see the water and take photos, a working tea factory, and a tea plantation where you can learn how tea is grown and processed in this region.

- Day 4
Nuwara Eliya to Ella
Following breakfast, you'll visit Gregory Lake and Victoria Park Garden to spend time in nature. Around midday at 12:40, you board a scenic train to Ella, which is a relaxing way to see the countryside. Once you arrive, you climb Little Adam's Peak in the evening to catch views from the top before settling into your accommodation for the night.

- Day 5
Ella to Tissamaharama
Your day starts with visits to Rawana waterfall and Buduruwagala Rock Temple to see the carved Buddha figures on the rock face. After that, you drive to Tissamaharama, covering 88 km in about 2 hours. In the evening, you'll do a 4x4 safari at either Yala National Park or Udawalawe National Park, both known for seeing elephants, leopards, and other wildlife in their natural habitat.

- Day 6
Tissamaharama to Mirissa
After breakfast, you take a scenic drive to Mirissa on the south coast, traveling 120 km in roughly 2 hours. Along the way, you stop at a snake farm to see and learn about local reptiles. Later, you arrive at your beach resort where you can relax, swim, or walk along the shore for the remainder of the day.

- Day 7
Mirissa to Colombo
Set your alarm for 6:30 a.m. to head out from Mirissa Port and try to spot blue whales in the ocean (timing depends on the season). You'll return to your hotel for breakfast and then check out. Depending on your flight schedule, you might visit the Sea Turtle Hatchery & Rescue Center to see turtle conservation efforts, take a boat safari on the Madu River, or explore the historic Galle Dutch Fort before driving to Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo or Negombo (180 km, approximately 3 hours) for your flight home.
