Itinerary
- Day 1
Munich
You arrive in Munich and check into your hotel at your own pace. This gives you time to get comfortable and start exploring the city before the cycling portion of your trip kicks off.



- Day 2
Munich to Bad Tölz
From Munich, you'll cycle along the Isar River, riding through the Isar floodplains and passing by monasteries and traditional Bavarian villages. By the end of the day, you reach Bad Tölz, a rafting town with a charming old town worth walking through.

- Day 3
Bad Tölz to Maurach/Jenbach or Schwaz
You cycle from Bad Tölz along the Isar River toward Lake Sylvenstein, then head through the Karwendel Nature Park as you cross into Austria. This brings you to the Achensee holiday region with its mountain lake setting. If you're interested, there's an optional boat trip available on the lake.

Jenbach or Schwaz to Bressanone
Following the cycle path beside the Inn River, you'll reach Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol. There's time to explore the historic old town and see the Golden Roof, or you could visit Mount Isel or the Tirol Panorama if those interest you. The challenging climb toward Brenner Pass gets handled by train or bus, and then you'll resume cycling along the old railway line to Bressanone.

You cycle through the Isarco Valley past its vineyards, passing through Bolzano and charming villages like Gellésam with mountain views all around. The route takes you over Mendola Pass and through Fiè allo Sciliar before finishing in Caldaro, a town known for its lake and local wines.

Darfo Boario Terme to Bergamo

Riding into the Upper Town, you'll navigate the ancient walls and medieval alleys that make this stage culturally rich.
