Itinerary
- Day 1
Faro
You'll arrive in Faro and get settled into your hotel. After checking in, you receive a personal welcome along with a briefing about the tour ahead. The staff adjusts your bikes to fit your preferences so everything's comfortable before you start cycling.
Landmarks Faro - Day 2
Vila Real de Santo António to Olhão
Start with a train ride to Vila Real de Santo António, then begin cycling along the Guadiana River toward the sea through pine forests and citrus plantations. You'll roll through the historic cliffside town of Cacela Velha, pedal into the Ria Formosa nature reserve to see mussel fields and salt pans as you head toward Tavira. From there, cycle to Pedras del Rei where you can opt for a train ride to Praia do Barril beach, then finish the day in Olhão, the Algarve's largest fishing port.

Olhão to Praia da Rocha
After a short ride to Faro, follow cycle paths through the historic center and into the Ria Formosa nature reserve. The route continues along the coast past golf courses to Quarteira's beach promenade, then through Vilamoura toward Falesia beach and on to Albufeira. You'll explore nature trails and beaches near Armação de Pera, with an option to detour to Capela da Nossa Senhora da Rocha. Pass through the charming village of Ferragudo and the lively town of Portimão before finishing at Praia da Rocha beach.

Praia da Rocha to Sagres
Cycle through the fishing village of Alvor to the Rio Alvor estuary and past the largest oyster farm in the Algarve. Head to Lagos along Meia Praia beach, explore the walled historic center and the Church of Saint Anthony. Later, you'll see Ponta da Piedade with its golden rock formations, then detour to the quiet village of Praia da Luz. Pedal through Figueiras past ancient megaliths to Raposeira, home of Henry the Navigator, then continue to Cabo de São Vicente, Europe's most south-westerly point with its 60-meter lighthouse. End your day in Sagres.
