Itinerary
- Day 1
Stockholm
You'll arrive in Stockholm and have the day to yourself. Explore the city at your own pace, grab lunch at a café, wander around neighborhoods that interest you, or just rest up if you're feeling tired from travel. By evening, head to the train station and board your overnight train to Åre. The compartments are comfortable, so you can settle in for the journey.

- Day 2
Åre
After your overnight train ride, you'll pull into Åre in the morning. Check into your accommodation in this mountain area and take time to settle down. The rest of the day is open, so you can either relax after traveling or take a walk around the surroundings to get a feel for the place. There's no rush to do anything specific.

Landmarks Åre - Days 3 - 6
Åre
During your days in Åre, you'll have a guided hiking tour to Tännforsen included. The waterfall is Sweden's largest and drops 38 meters with up to 700 cubic meters of water per second flowing over it. Your guide shares stories about the area's history and points out local plants and wildlife along the way. After the hike, you'll have traditional Swedish coffee and a Ren-Klemma sandwich to refuel. The rest of your free time is yours to spend however you like, whether that's more hiking, resting, or exploring nearby.

Åre to Stockholm
In the evening, head back to the train station and board your overnight train returning to Stockholm. Settle into your private compartment and rest during the overnight journey back to the city. The train handles all the travel while you sleep.

Stockholm
You'll arrive back in Stockholm early morning. From here, you can either head to the airport and travel home, or if you want more time in the city, you can stick around and explore what Stockholm has to offer. It's your choice how to end the trip.
