Crete
You'll arrive in Crete and settle into your accommodation. Dinner is included, so after you get yourself sorted, head to your meal and get some rest before the cycling begins tomorrow.

Landmarks Crete - Day 2
Siva to Agia Galini
Start your e-bike tour from Siva heading southwest through traditional mountain villages. You'll come across the 3000-year-old olive tree in Panasos and stop at Zaros lake to see the wildlife there. From there, continue on to Agia Galini, a former fishing village with real character. Finish the day with traditional dishes at the ONAR taverna where you can eat overlooking the sea.

Agia Galini to Souda
Cycle west from Agia Galini along the beach when the route allows it. You'll ride near the Preveli palm forest and find a secluded bay that's perfect for a swim and freshening up. Pass through the village of Plakias and keep going west to Souda beach, where you'll break for lunch and spend the night.

Souda to Rethymno
This morning involves a 3.5 km uphill section to reach the Church of St. Nicholas in the rock, which sits right next to Kotsifos Gorge. Follow the narrow paved road along the gorge to Roustika village, then continue cycling to Rethymno. You'll pass by the Venetian fortress Fortezza and cycle through the narrow streets and along the sea before stopping at a taverna near the old mosque for lunch.

Rethymno to Anogia
Start with 10 km along the coast to Skaleta village, then head into Crete's most mountainous region. You'll cycle through Margarites and see ceramic workshops where artisans work. From there, ride through 15 mountain villages known for cattle breeding and dairy before reaching Anogia, the largest village in the area. This region is famous for its lamb and goat meat, traditionally cooked using the Antikristo method over an open fire.

Landmarks Skaleta Margarites Anogia - Day 6
Anogia to Karteros
Cycle up the north side of Mount Ida to the Minoan city excavations at Zominthos. Continue to the birth cave of Zeus, then descend to Krousonas and Korfes village, where you'll see Crete's oldest and largest oak tree. End your day at Karteros beach where you can cool off in the sea and have lunch afterward.

Transfer to Heraklion airport where your e-bike tour of Crete comes to an end. After the last few days on the road, you'll head back home with plenty of stories from your cycling adventure.
