You'll arrive in New York City and get settled into your hotel. After you drop your bags, start exploring the city with a trip to The Edge observation deck if you want the extra cost option for views of the skyline. From there, head over to Times Square to take in the neon lights and feel the energy of the city.

Start early so you catch the Brooklyn Bridge at sunrise and get those golden-hour views of Manhattan. Grab breakfast at Ess-a-Bagel, then hop on the free Staten Island Ferry to see the skyline and pass by the Statue of Liberty. After that, you'll visit the 9/11 Memorial and spend time walking through Greenwich Village checking out boutiques, cafes, and secondhand shops.

New York to Orlando
You'll fly from New York to Orlando and pick up your rental car. On the drive to Orlando, there's an option to stop at Kennedy Space Center to try the Space Shuttle Simulator if you want to pay for that experience. Once you arrive in Orlando, settle in and head to dinner under the stars at Wall Street Plaza.

Orlando
Today you'll experience Orlando's theme parks. You can choose between Walt Disney World Resort or Universal Orlando Resort, which includes Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, Volcano Bay water park, and CityWalk. Combination tickets are available online or on-site. If theme parks aren't your thing, head to St. Augustine instead to see colonial architecture, history, and enjoy some coastal relaxation.

Orlando to Miami
Drive from Orlando to Miami in your rental car. The drive itself becomes part of your journey as you watch palm trees pass by and see the landscape change around you. Stop whenever you want for snacks or just a quick break. By evening you'll arrive in Miami to check out the glittering skyline, vibrant street art, South Beach, and the neon-lit nightlife.

Miami to Everglades
Head to the Everglades for the day to explore Florida's most famous national park. Walk the Anhinga Trail and see incredible wildlife including anhinga birds, sea turtles, manatees, herons, pelicans, cormorants, snakes, and alligators. Bring your camera because there are tons of opportunities for wildlife photography out here.

Miami to Florida Keys to Miami
You'll drive the legendary Overseas Highway from Miami down to the Florida Keys. As you drive, you'll see turquoise waters and white sandy bays passing by on the route through small islands. Stop in Key Largo to experience the Caribbean vibes and grab some waterfront seafood lunch, or swim near Islamorada if you want. By the end of the day you'll reach Key West at the southernmost point of the USA for photos at the famous Southernmost Point Marker and the Caribbean atmosphere there. Then drive back to Miami.

Miami Departure
Use your final hours in Miami to grab a last coffee with a view or snap some last photos. Head to the airport, return your rental car, and board your flight home. As you leave, you'll have time to think back on all the experiences and road trips from this American adventure.
