- Day 1
Uluru
You'll arrive at Uluru before 2:30 PM and head straight to the Uluru and Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre to learn about Anangu culture and the natural environment. Then it's time to settle into your hotel for a two-night stay in the area.

Uluru
Pick one of four included activities: catch the sunrise with a cultural tour and picnic breakfast, take a desert camel ride, do a guided walk around the base of Uluru, or experience a sunrise journey. In the afternoon, you'll explore Kata Tjuta and Walpa Gorge, where the ochre landscapes are really striking. Helicopter flights are available if you want that option.

Uluru to Kings Canyon
You'll drive from Uluru to Alice Springs, traveling through Watarrka National Park and stopping at Kings Canyon. There's a relaxed walk on the canyon floor, and later you can check out Light-Towers, an immersive light and sound display. You'll stay two nights at accommodation right on the edge of the national park.

Kings Canyon
At Kings Canyon, you have options: take a scenic flight if you want, or do the award-winning Karrke Aboriginal cultural tour with a guided walk learning about bush tucker and traditional plant and rock uses. After that, you'll head back to your hotel for dinner.

You'll travel to Alice Springs and take a city tour that includes the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Check in for your overnight stay, then head out for an outdoor outback bush BBQ with damper cooking and entertainment from a bush balladeer.

Alice Springs to The Ghan
Start at Anzac Hill Memorial for panoramic views of Alice Springs and the surrounding ranges. From there, explore the Alice Springs Desert Park on an Aboriginal cultural tour, then visit the Alice Springs School of the Air visitor centre. Later, you'll board the famous Ghan train in Gold Service, relax in the Outback Explorer Lounge, and have dinner in the Queen Adelaide Restaurant.

Have breakfast on board The Ghan while taking in the outback landscape. When you arrive in Katherine, you can choose a guided cruise through Nitmiluk (Katherine) Gorge to see the towering red ochre sandstone walls and hear Jawoyn stories. Then reboard the train for the journey to Darwin, where you'll stay for four nights.

You'll travel to World Heritage-listed Kakadu National Park. See ancient Aboriginal rock art at Nourlangie Rock and visit Bowali Visitors Centre. Later, take a cruise on Yellow Water Billabong to see massive crocodiles, water buffalo, and remarkable birdlife. You'll stay overnight inside the national park and have access to the outdoor pool and restaurant bar.

There's an option to view Jim Jim and Twin Falls by fixed-wing flight for a bird's-eye view. Then you'll travel to Katherine and explore Nitmiluk National Park and its famous gorge. In the evening, enjoy a dinner cruise through Nitmiluk Gorge with towering red ochre sandstone walls and stories from local Jawoyn people.

You'll head to Kununurra, a young town founded in the 1960s when the Ord River Dam project started. You'll settle in for your first of two nights here.

Kununurra
You'll explore Lake Argyle, one of the largest man-made lakes in the Southern Hemisphere with over 70 islands and incredible wildlife. Take a cruise on the Ord River to see diverse birdlife and impressive gorge walls. In the afternoon, you'll have tea and tour the Hoochery Distillery, the oldest operating legal still in Western Australia, where local rums and gins are handmade.
