- Day 1
Anchorage to Seward
Meet your guide in Anchorage and drive south along the Seward Highway, stopping in Girdwood to take the Alyeska Tram up to 2,300 feet where you'll get panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. From there, head to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center to see rescued animals like bears and moose. You'll arrive in Seward by late afternoon and check into your waterfront hotel with time to settle in.

- Day 2
Seward
This morning you're heading out on a half-day cruise into Kenai Fjords National Park to see tidewater glaciers and watch for whales, sea otters, puffins, and harbor seals. The boat gets close enough to observe glaciers calving into the water. After returning to port, you'll have the afternoon to wander around Seward on your own, grab lunch at a local restaurant, or check out the small shops and waterfront.

After a picnic lunch, the group heads north through forested valleys to reach Majestic Valley Wilderness Lodge, which sits overlooking the Matanuska Valley. You'll have time to settle in and enjoy the views from your accommodation.

- Day 4
Hatcher Pass to Denali
Travel through Hatcher Pass, a high-altitude area with alpine scenery, and stop at Independence Mine Historical Park to walk around century-old gold rush buildings and learn about the area's mining history. Stop for a picnic lunch, then continue south through the Mat-Su Valley. You'll arrive at Creekside Cabins near Denali by late afternoon with time to explore the grounds.

- Day 5
Denali National Park
You'll spend the full day on the Denali Park Wildlife Bus traveling deep into the national park interior. The route takes you through braided rivers and alpine tundra while your driver watches for grizzly bears, dall sheep, moose, caribou, and golden eagles. On clear days, you might see Denali itself, the highest peak in North America. Bring layers and a good camera, as weather and wildlife viewing opportunities change throughout the day.

Denali to Anchorage

You'll have free time to browse shops and walk along the riverside trails before boarding the Alaska Railroad for the 3-hour ride back to Anchorage. During the train journey, you'll see the Susitna River, mountain ranges, and glaciers from your seat. Arrive back in Anchorage in the late afternoon.
