Your representative will meet you at Colombo airport and drive you to your hotel in Colombo. It's a straightforward transfer to settle in for the night.

Colombo to Jaffna
After breakfast at the resort, you'll head north toward Jaffna with stops at two significant Hindu temples along the way. First comes Manavari Temple, where tradition holds that Lord Rama installed the Siva Lingam following his victory over King Ravana. From there, you'll stop at Munneshwaram Temple before continuing on to Jaffna itself. Lunch happens at a local restaurant, then you'll spend the night in Jaffna.

Jaffna

Jaffna to Trincomalee
After breakfast, you'll travel to Trincomalee and visit Koneswaram Temple, also called the Temple of the Thousand Pillars. This classical-medieval Hindu temple complex dedicated to Shiva holds significant religious importance in the region. You'll have lunch at a local restaurant and stay overnight in Trincomalee.

Trincomalee to Kandy
Breakfast comes first, then you're heading to Kandy with a stop at a spice garden in Matale. There you'll learn about the therapeutic qualities of spices and try some herbal tea. Once in Kandy, you'll see the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, walk around the lakeside town center for shopping and local arts and crafts, visit the gem museum, and check out the local market. You'll head to Nuwara Eliya after breakfast, stopping at a tea plantation and factory where you can see how Ceylon tea is produced and taste some fresh brewed. You'll also visit Sri Baktha Hanuman Temple at Ramboda and Seetha Amman Temple on the way. In Nuwara Eliya, you'll explore this British colonial town with its English-style atmosphere, colonial buildings, and the well-known 18-hole golf course. There's an option to rent a bike or walk around Lake Gregory if you prefer something slower paced. Lunch locally, overnight in Nuwara Eliya.

You'll visit Ruhunu Maha Kataragama Dewalaya, a temple complex respected by Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims, and the Vedda people. Lunch at a local restaurant and overnight in Kataragama.

Kataragama to Galle
You'll travel to Galle after breakfast, stopping in Weligama to see the stilt-fishermen using their traditional method from poles positioned 20 to 50 meters offshore. Once in Galle, you'll explore the city's colonial heritage including the Galle Fort covering 90 acres, the Dutch Museum, and the Dutch church. The city served as Ceylon's main port and remains one of the better-preserved colonial towns in Southeast Asia, recognized as a World Heritage Site. Galle to Colombo
You'll drive back to Colombo for a final city tour after breakfast. The route takes you past the Racecourse through clean streets, then to Pettah and the Floating Market for different shopping options. You'll also see the developing Colombo Port City project. Later, heading along Bauddhaloka Mawatha, you'll pass by the historic Independence Square. Lunch at a local restaurant and dinner before heading to the airport for your return flight.
