Arrival in Luang Prabang
Your private driver will meet you at Luang Prabang International Airport and take you to your hotel. Check-in happens at 14:00, so if you arrive earlier, you can drop off your bags and settle in before the official time.

Luang Prabang
If you're up for it, head out around 5:30 am to watch monks collecting alms or wander through the morning market. After breakfast, you'll visit the Royal Palace National Museum, then move through several temples including Wat Visoun, Wat Aham, and Wat Xiengthong. Stop by Wat Mai Temple to chat with monks, then climb the 328 steps up Phousi Hill to catch the sunset. The rest of the evening is yours to do as you please.

Luang Prabang
Following breakfast, you'll take a two-hour boat trip on a traditional long-tail down the Mekong River, passing by rural villages and seeing how locals live along the water. Next, you'll visit Pak Ou Caves where thousands of Buddha images are tucked into the rock face, then drive back to town. In the afternoon, head south to Kuang Si Waterfall, hike through the national park, and jump into the turquoise pools if the mood strikes. Evening is free to check out the Night Bazaar back in the city.

Luang Prabang to Vientiane
After breakfast, you'll head to the bus station for an approximately 8-hour drive to Vientiane. The route cuts through scenic areas with rural villages and green countryside, so you'll get a real sense of daily life in Laos. When you arrive, your driver takes you to the hotel for check-in and some downtime.

Vientiane
This morning after breakfast, you'll explore Vientiane's major temples starting with Wat Sisaket, which holds over 8,000 Buddha statues arranged in its cloister. Then you'll see Wat Ho Prakeo with its own collection of Buddha statues and antique pieces. Stop by That Luang Stupa, the most important monument in Laos, and Patouxay, which locals call the Lao Arc de Triomphe. In the afternoon, drive southeast to Buddha Park, a sculpture garden filled with Buddhist and Hindu statues, including a massive concrete pumpkin with three levels inside representing hell, earth, and heaven. You'll have free time in the evening once you're back.

Departure from Vientiane
Your driver will pick you up after breakfast for the transfer to Wattay International Airport. Plan on leaving the hotel at least 4 hours before your flight so you have time for check-in and security. Standard checkout at the hotel is noon.
