Nashville
You'll arrive at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville and get settled into your room. After checking in, spend the afternoon on your own exploring the resort's holiday setup and decorations. The property has a lot to see, so take your time wandering around and getting familiar with the layout. This is mainly a travel and settle-in day, so keep things relaxed.

- Day 2
Nashville
This morning you'll join a local guide for a tour of Nashville's main attractions like the State Capitol, Music Row, and the Parthenon. Later that afternoon, head back to freshen up before the welcome dinner. After dinner, you'll head to the Grand Ole Opry for reserved seating at this famous live music venue. The show runs several hours, so it'll be a late evening.

Nashville
Start early at RCA Studio B, Nashville's oldest recording studio where Elvis, Dolly Parton, and Charlie Pride all recorded. You'll even get to make your own recording there. From there, head to the Country Music Hall of Fame to walk through one of the largest music museums around. Later, return to Gaylord Opryland for dinner and a holiday show. After that, pick between a horse-drawn carriage ride or a calm indoor river cruise.

Nashville to Gatlinburg
Travel east toward Gatlinburg, where you'll stay for two nights near Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Once you arrive and settle in, head to Smoky Mountains Christmas at Dollywood in nearby Pigeon Forge. The park has light displays and holiday shows throughout the evening, so plan to spend several hours there before heading back to your hotel.

Gatlinburg
A local guide will take you through Great Smoky Mountains National Park today. You'll stop at scenic overlooks along the way and head up to Newfound Gap, where you can see views stretching into both Tennessee and North Carolina. Later, visit Ole Smoky Moonshine Distillery to try different moonshine flavors and learn about this regional craft. Head back to Gatlinburg by evening for dinner at a local restaurant.

Leave the mountains and head to Asheville, North Carolina, which has a lot of holiday energy this time of year. The afternoon and evening are free for you to explore on your own. Walk through downtown and check out craft breweries, chocolate shops, and farm-to-table restaurants. If you're interested, there's an optional food and tasting tour that lets you sample local items and meet the people who make them.

Landmarks Asheville - Day 7
Asheville
Spend the day touring the Biltmore Estate, George Vanderbilt II's massive mansion in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Inside you'll see the scale and luxury of Gilded Age life, and the grounds are decorated with holiday lights and festive displays throughout. The grounds alone take time to see. Later, cap off your tour with a farewell dinner at a local Asheville restaurant.
