- Day 1
Calgary Arrival
You'll arrive in Calgary and get a complimentary transfer to your hotel, with pickups available every 2 hours from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. The rest of your day is open, so you can either wander around on your own or take advantage of optional local tours like a city tour, shopping at CrossIron Mill Outlet, or a visit to the Calgary Zoo.

- Calgary City Tour (3 hours) - Guided tour exploring the city from historic sites to modern buildings, includes guide service, transportation, and admission
- CrossIron Mill Outlet Shopping Tour (5 hours) - Discover Alberta's biggest one-level shopping centre
- The Calgary Zoo with Public Transportation Ticket/Admission - See almost 900 animals including gorillas, hippos, grizzly bears, penguins, red pandas, and amur tigers

Calgary to Banff National Park
Today you'll head from Calgary into the Canadian Rockies and explore Banff National Park, Canada's first national park. Check out Johnston Canyon or Marble Canyon (crampons are provided at no charge), Bow Falls, Surprise Corner, and the Hoodoos rock formations. You'll also spend about 90 minutes wandering through Banff Town, where there are shops and restaurants to browse.

- Johnston Canyon hike (approx. 60 mins) - One of the most popular hiking trails featuring stunning waterfalls and rugged rock walls; in winter transforms into an ice wonderland with frozen waterfalls
- Marble Canyon visit (approx. 30 mins) - Natural landmark in Kootenay National Park with striking marble rock formations and crystal-clear turquoise waters
- Bow Falls - Stop for about 15 minutes at the location of the 1960s film 'The River of No Return'
- Surprise Corner - Stop for about 15 minutes with good views of The Castle in the Rockies
- Hoodoos - Stop for about 15 minutes to observe the distinctive tower-like sedimentary rock formations
- Banff Town - Stop for about 90 minutes to explore shops and restaurants
Optional Activities
- Banff Sulphur Mt Gondola (Optional) - Enjoy a 360° view of Banff (stop for about 90 minutes). Note: Closed for maintenance from November 10-21, 2025; will be replaced by other sightseeing places

Banff to Lake Louise and Yoho National Park
This is the final leg of your Rocky Mountain journey. You'll spend roughly 2 hours at Lake Louise with its turquoise glacial waters and Victoria Glacier, then move through Yoho National Park. Along the way, you'll see the Spiral Tunnels, an impressive railway engineering accomplishment, stop at Emerald Lake for about 20 minutes, check out the Natural Bridge rock formation for another 15 minutes, and then head to Vermillion Lakes for around 20 minutes where you can see reflections of Mount Rundle.

Lake Louise Winter Activities
You'll experience winter in the Canadian Rockies with various alpine activities throughout the day. Plan for about 2 hours at Lake Louise Ski Resort where you can buy lift tickets and rent equipment, and then travel to Abraham Lake to see its rare frozen methane bubbles. There are optional activities available too, like tubing, sightseeing gondola rides, or scenic helicopter flights if you want to add more to your day.

- Lake Louise Ski Resort (stop for about 2 hours) - One of Canada's largest ski areas with over 100 ski runs for all skill levels
- Abraham Lake visit - Located along the North Saskatchewan River, famous for rare frozen methane bubbles trapped beneath the icy surface
Optional Activities
- Tubing (Optional) - Fun-filled winter activity suitable for all ages; slide down snowy slopes on an inflatable tube
- Lake Louise Sightseeing Gondola (Optional) - Ride the gondola up the mountain for breathtaking panoramic views of snow-covered landscape and surrounding peaks
- Heli Tour (Optional) - Scenic helicopter flight over the majestic peaks of the Canadian Rockies (flight time approx. 20 minutes)
- Banff Upper Hot Springs (Optional) - Relax in the only outdoor hot springs within Banff National Park with naturally heated mineral-rich waters (stop for about 60 minutes; admission not included, tickets can be purchased on-site). Will be replaced by Cave & Basin if unavailable.
- Ski Lessons at Lake Louise (Optional) - Professional ski instruction at one of Canada's premier ski resorts. Group Lesson (Ages 13+): Beginner Package (Level 1-2 only), includes learning area lift ticket and rental equipment, duration 2 hours (1:00 PM-3:00 PM). Private Lesson: Tailored instruction for up to 5 participants, duration 2 hours (1:00 PM-3:00 PM); lift tickets and rental equipment not included.
