- Day 1
London to Amsterdam
Your trip kicks off in London where you'll connect with your Contiki group before heading to Amsterdam. Along the way, you'll check out the White Cliffs of Dover from the English coast, then take a ferry across the Channel through Calais and travel through Belgium. When you arrive in Amsterdam, there's an included group dinner waiting, and after that you can hit up the city's bars and nightlife on your own schedule.

Amsterdam
This day is all yours to explore Amsterdam however you want. Walk through the famous canals, check out quirky museums, or hang out at vibrant cafes. You can bar hop, do a museum crawl, take a canal cruise, or just wander the charming streets. If traditional Dutch food interests you, there's an optional dinner at a local cheese-making barn available.

Amsterdam to Berlin
Leave Amsterdam and drive to Berlin via the autobahn. Once you arrive in this vibrant city, your Trip Manager will point you toward places to explore. You'll get a historical overview of Berlin and its complicated past, then have time to start discovering the city's sights on your own.

Berlin
Spend the day exploring Berlin at your own pace, from the iconic Checkpoint Charlie to hidden street art throughout the city. Either way, you'll see Berlin's stories and diverse character firsthand.

Berlin to Prague
Drive from Berlin to Prague with a stop in Dresden, a city that was rebuilt after World War II destruction and now stands as a symbol of resilience. Here you'll see the Opera House, the famous domed Frauenkirche, and the Royal Residence. After that, continue to Prague where you arrive in the evening with free time to try local beer and walk around before exploring more tomorrow.

Prague

Prague to Munich
Leave Prague and head to Munich where Bavarian culture is front and center. Even if it's not Oktoberfest season, the city's beer culture and festive atmosphere are year-round. You'll visit a traditional beer hall to experience local culture, and there's the option to explore the city by bike if you're interested.

Munich to Hopfgarten
Head to Austria this morning with a visit to the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial, an important WWII site to learn from and reflect on. After that, continue to the Austrian Tyrol where you can try white-water rafting through icy waters. The day ends with a welcome dinner in Hopfgarten.

Hopfgarten to Venice
After breakfast, you'll travel through the Central Austrian Alps and cross the Brenner Pass into Italy. Arrive in Venice, a floating city with hidden lanes, beautiful bridges, and gondolas. You can take a private gondola ride through the canals, and there's an optional dinner with authentic Venetian food available.

Rome
Start early to make the most of Rome's ancient sites. You can choose a guided tour of the famous Colosseum or take selfies with pink azaleas at the entrance. Head to the Trevi Fountain to toss in a coin, grab espresso in quiet backstreets, and either learn how to make pasta or just watch Italian life happen around you.

There's an optional dinner featuring olives, cured meats, crostini, and wine to get your Tuscan experience started.
