You'll meet your Contiki group in London and head toward Amsterdam. The route takes you through the White Cliffs of Dover before you cross the English Channel by ferry into Calais. After driving through Belgium, you arrive in Amsterdam by evening. Dinner is included at a group restaurant, and then you're free to check out the city's bars and nightlife on your own.

Amsterdam
Today is yours to spend however you like in Amsterdam. The STRAAT museum holds street art and graffiti from over 180 global artists in a massive warehouse if that interests you. There's also a scenic canal cruise option, or you could have dinner at a local seafront restaurant. If you prefer something quieter, just soak up the city's cafe culture and wander around.

You leave Amsterdam and drive on the autobahn toward Berlin. When you arrive, your Trip Manager gives you an orientation and points out the city's historic sites. Berlin has a vibrant party scene and complicated history that'll come into focus over the next two nights. You start with a historical overview of the city's troubled past.

Berlin
Pick between two walking tours today. There's a morning historical tour that covers the Brandenburg Gate and Reichstag Building, or an evening option exploring the edgy Kreuzberg neighborhood. Either way, you'll see iconic sites like Checkpoint Charlie and find hidden gems tucked into side streets. This day packs in a lot of stories and gives you real insight into Berlin.

Berlin to Prague
You leave Berlin and drive toward Prague, stopping in Dresden along the way. Dresden was rebuilt after World War II bombing and shows off Baroque architecture including the Royal Residence, Zwinger Palace, Opera House, and Frauenkirche. Later you reach Prague to explore castles and cathedrals while learning about Bohemian Kings and gothic history. An optional traditional Czech cuisine dinner with local folklore dancers is available.

This morning you travel to Austria with a stop at the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial. It's a somber but important visit where you learn and reflect on this historical site. You then continue to Hopfgarten in the Tyrol for a welcome dinner, sleeping in same-sex multi-share accommodation with up to 3 other travelers.
