- Day 1
Arrival in Reykjavik
You'll land at Keflavik International Airport and get transferred to your hotel in Reykjavik. Once you've settled in, the rest of the day is yours to wander around the city. Walk through the charming streets, check out local landmarks, and try some Icelandic food for dinner. It's a good way to get oriented and start feeling the rhythm of the city.

Golden Circle
Your road trip starts today on the Golden Circle route. First stop is Thingvellir National Park where you can walk between two tectonic plates and see the geological drama up close. From there, head to Geysir Geothermal Area to watch Strokkur Geyser shoot water into the air. Later in the day, you'll reach Gullfoss Waterfall, a powerful multi-tiered drop that really shows the raw power of nature. It's a full day but each stop is worth the drive.

Relaxation in Reykjavik
Today's about taking things slower and relaxing in geothermal waters. You can choose between Sky Lagoon, which has ocean views, or Nautholsvík Geothermal Beach if you want something closer to Reykjavik and easier on the budget. If sitting in hot water isn't your thing, the Harpa Concert Hall downtown has modern architecture worth seeing and free art exhibitions inside. Either way, it's a nice break from driving around.

Marine Adventures
This is the family adventure day. You'll head out from Reykjavik's harbor on a whale-watching tour and look for whales in the waters around Iceland. After that, the Puffin Express Tour takes you out to spot the colorful puffins in their actual habitat. By evening, grab some famous lobster soup at Seabaron restaurant. It's a good mix of water-based activities and local food.

Departure from Reykjavik
On your last day, walk down Laugavegur Street and pick up any souvenirs or browse the local boutiques. Before heading to the airport, try FlyOver Iceland, a virtual flight experience that takes you over Iceland's landscape one more time. Then it's back to Keflavik International Airport with plenty of memories from the trip.
