- Day 2NaplesThis day focuses on Naples' main attractions and neighborhoods. Start with Via Toledo, a major street that's always bustling with people and shops. Then cut through the tight alleyways of Quartieri Spagnoli to see how locals actually live in the city. Galleria Umberto I shows off some real architectural detail from the past, and Castel Nuovo sits there as a fortress reminder of the city's history. By evening, walk along Lungomare Caracciolo where you get views out toward the Bay and Mount Vesuvius across the water. - Day 3Mount VesuviusYou'll spend the day outside Naples at Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius. Walking through Pompeii means seeing streets and homes and painted walls that got buried during the 79 A.D. eruption and stayed preserved all these centuries. After that, hike up Mount Vesuvius to reach the crater at the top. From up there you see the whole Bay of Naples laid out below you, which really puts the scale of the place into perspective. - Ascend Mount Vesuvius - hike to the crater of this active stratovolcano with panoramic views of the Bay of Naples

- Day 4Naples to AirportCheck out from your hotel and head to the airport for your afternoon flight. Plan to get there about 3 hours early, and if you haven't already done it online, complete your check-in before you leave. That gives you time to handle any last-minute details without rushing.
