Porto
You'll arrive in Porto and start wandering at your own pace through the narrow, colorful streets that lead down toward the Douro River. Stop at a local café to grab a galão and pastel de nata, then take time to soak in the historic feel of the old town. It's a good way to get your bearings and start feeling the rhythm of the city.

- Day 2
Porto
Spend the day exploring Porto's old town and checking out several key spots. You'll see the blue-tiled Chapel of Souls, the famous Livraria Lello bookshop, the Clérigos Tower, and Porto Cathedral. Come evening, there's an optional guided port wine tasting available in the wine cellars (you'll pay on site). This gives you flexibility depending on your energy level.

Porto
Today you have two options depending on what appeals to you. Take a coastal hike from Porto to either Matosinhos or Foz do Douro, which passes lighthouses and beaches along the way. Or if you prefer something different, head by train to Pinhão or Peso da Régua and hike through the Douro Valley vineyards instead. Either way, you'll return to Porto for sunset and time to relax.

Porto to Lisbon
The bus takes you from Porto to Lisbon, crossing the Douro bridge along the way. Once you arrive, walk through the blue-tiled streets and check out Praça do Comércio with the Arco da Rua Augusta. Then head to Bairro Alto, where you'll find street art, rooftop bars, and plenty of evening activity to explore.

- Day 5
Lisbon
Ride the iconic yellow Tram 28 through the old town, then head to the Palácio Nacional in the Ajuda district to see its opulent interior. After that, go to Belém for Pastéis de Belém (the famous custard tarts), walk through the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, and see the Torre de Belém. Try to time it so you can end with sunset by the water.

After that, walk through the old town with its cobblestone streets and colorful facades, and visit the Forte da Ponta da Bandeira for views and a sea breeze.
