Itinerary
- Day 1
Colombo
You'll arrive at Colombo airport where someone from the hotel will meet you and drive you to your accommodation. After checking in, the rest of your day is yours to do as you like. It's a good time to get settled, rest up from your flight, and maybe grab an early dinner if you're not too tired.

Colombo to Galle
Following breakfast at your hotel, you'll spend the morning and early afternoon walking through Colombo's main attractions like temples, museums, and the lakeshore area. Then it's a few hours south to Galle, with a stop at the Kosgoda Turtle Farm to see how they care for sea turtles. Check in at your Galle hotel and you'll have the evening free to relax or wander around town.

- Day 3
Galle
This is a full day tour with a guide covering Galle's highlights. You'll see turtle hatcheries, the old Dutch Fort from the 1600s, Buddhist temples and monasteries throughout the area, a Japanese pagoda, and head out to Jungle Beach. By afternoon you're back at the hotel where you can shop or just take it easy for the rest of the day.

Galle to Yala National Park
After checking out, you'll head to Yala National Park. Once you settle into your hotel and freshen up, you'll go out on an afternoon safari through the jungle looking for Sri Lankan leopards, elephants, wild boars, and various bird species. Evening brings you back to the hotel for dinner and the night.

- Day 5
Yala National Park to Nuwara Eliya
Your alarm goes off early for a morning game drive when leopards are most active. After spotting wildlife, you'll return for breakfast and have some leisure time. Then it's checkout and a drive to Nuwara Eliya with a stop at Rawana Falls on the way. You'll have the afternoon and evening at your new hotel to rest.

Nuwara Eliya
A guided sightseeing tour takes you through Nuwara Eliya's town center and market, past the golf course and the historic Hill Club building. You'll also visit Seetha Eliya temple and take in the surrounding mountains, valleys, waterfalls, and tea plantation landscapes. The afternoon is free time back at your hotel.

Nuwara Eliya to Kandy
After breakfast you'll check out and head to Nawalapitiya railway station to board a scenic train ride to Gampola. Along the route you'll visit a well-known Ceylon Tea factory to see how they process the leaves. From Gampola station it's a car ride to Kandy where you'll check into your hotel.

Kandy
You'll tour Kandy's main sites after breakfast including the Royal Botanical Garden with its tropical plants and peaceful setting, the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, the Old Royal Palace, and Sri Natha Devalaya Temple Square. The Kandy Lake offers great views, and you'll catch a traditional Sri Lankan cultural performance in the evening. Your night is free for shopping or relaxing.

Kandy to Sigiriya
Heading towards Sigiriya after breakfast, you'll stop at the Aluvihara Rock Cave Temple, Fort Macdowall, and a spice garden in Matale to see how local spices grow. There's also an option to visit Dambulla Royal Cave Temple with its golden Buddha statue and ancient megalithic tombs before continuing to Sigiriya. The rest of the day is yours to settle in.

Sigiriya to Polonnaruwa
After breakfast you'll climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress with its views from the top, then take a day trip to Polonnaruwa. This ancient city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site where you'll see the medieval Royal Palace and the Gal Vihare complex featuring four Buddha images carved from one piece of granite. You'll also see a massive statue of the kingdom's greatest king before heading back to Sigiriya for the night.

Sigiriya to Anuradhapura
Following breakfast, you'll take a day excursion to Anuradhapura, one of Sri Lanka's oldest cities. You'll visit the Sri Maha Bodhi, the oldest historically documented tree, along with ancient palaces, monasteries, dagobas, Buddha statues, and historical ruins scattered throughout. Then it's back to Sigiriya for another night.

Chilaw
A guided tour takes you through Chilaw's main temples including the Manavari temple and Munneswaram temple, both important religious sites in the area. After lunch or mid-afternoon when the tour wraps up, you'll have time for shopping or to relax back at your hotel.
